Nice watch Dan👍 GLWS. Love that blue. I didn't know that about the peaked A. M honey yellow dial 6002 and 7017 have it but not my other 6139s and 6138. Did that come originally with a Stellux bracelet?

Thanks Tom. Yes, the peaked-A is 6002 specific in the 6000 series chronographs. It should have come on a Seiko tapered H-link originally.

Great video. Is there a difference in the dials with 17j above the suwa vs no 17j marking above the suwa? Just picked up a 6005 with no 17j above the suwa . Thanks

What do you mean by peaked A?

The font for the As in JAPAN on the Dial have a peak for 6002 variants, whereas other models have As with flat tops.

OK, I am a little confused. Peaked A on R dials, flat A on T dials which can still be original on a 6002, no? Correct me if I am wrong but, not all 6002 are peaked A as you state in your video. Some original 6002 are T dials with the flat A.

All I claim is that 6002 are the basis for the fake dials. There may be 6002 flat A's, but I have never seen one.

i think peacked A is 6030R dial. Flat A is 6030T.
