I find myself asking "where do these people even come from?" Side note: grabbing a stranger aggressively in public is just about the dumbest thing you can do. You risk getting punched, kicked, stabbed or shot...and it would be you who got arrested, not them.

According to my state's laws, if I'm assaulted I can legally beat the hell out of the other person until I'm sure I can leave the area safely without them getting up to pursue.

To put it simple: everyone has this type of person inside of them that is kept on a tight leash of control because they are well aware of the potential consequences. However, every now and again, you find someone whose leash has been worn down with the "I want" feelings and the snap comes when the world "No" or "you're wrong" is uttered because they started thinking "I want or there forth why not"

There exists a maxim of neighborliness in which Karen's are not familiar: "Ask, and you may receive. Demand, and you get nothing."
This is, indubitably, Mr. Fred Rogers-approved.

She starts to talk about reporting the bus driver because he's not forcing someone to give up their seat.

@@gorilladisco9108 they do. Especially if it's sweet. They try to land on it to drink it(?) The soap makes it so they drown instead of sitting on top. Like how lightweight bugs can walk on water. The soap makes it so they can't land on it. Just yesterday, I was picking up a prescription at the grocery store pharmacy, and a guy who looked alarmingly like Donald Sutherland in Body Snatchers pointed dead at me and went "OY! YOU THERE!"
I was momentarily just dumbfounded that someone in real life had actually said "Oy! You there!"
He then proceeded to actually ASK if I worked there, to which I said I did not, and that was that. But with that opening, I was absolutely certain it was going to escalate.

The story of susan made me think of how my uncle got rid of a karen when i was a teenager.
It was in our local asda and we we just popping in for some pies and drinks on the way to drop me off at home after a visit.
This lady who is in my mind the stereotypical karen, chunky build, blue flower print sundress, sunhat and the big tacky plastic glasses walks over to us after he helped me with one of the 4 packs of porkies and i wandered over to look at the little sausage rolls.
Im a bit away because he wanted some pickles and he nearly walks into karen.
"Im glad i bumped into you, i need (something that i remember being like a dinner party food? I forget exactly what it was but it was fancy as hell) and i need a member of staff to help me" it was her tone that was off, she jad this sneer in her tone and it was an order like a bad dog owner.
My uncle was not great at taking orders, or dealing with being bothered, or reactibg predictably to any given situation. Honestly he was hard to get on with a lot of the time, but he did, in this instance, teach me the very best way to get rid of a karen who thinks you work for the store you are in.
He nodded and said"yes ma'am, im sure i can help you with that. One second" and he smiled, took in a deep breath, and looked up.
    And.
    Freaking.
SCREAMED "SOMEONE WHO WORKS FOR ASDA COME HELP THIS F**KING IDIOT WOMAN IN THE STUPID F**KING YELLOW HAT AND STUPID GLASSES!!!!!"
bear in mind this is less that 2 feet from her face and he put in parade ground army voice into it.
I was like 15 feet down the aisle and,I nearly pooped myself in stunned surprise and fear of that voice, but the lady was full body stunned, like all her limbs locked like a deer in headlights.
Then he smiles at her, gave her a thumbs up and said, "right. Thatll do it. Good trick in future if you cant find a member of staff again." And then he walked over to me and we went to look for pickles for him while i think karen was prolapsing in her brain.

I was at Walmart. I was wearing a blue spaghetti strap zebra print top with short shorts. I was looking for something specific and I dont have the best vision, so I was really tryna read what everything said. I couldn't find what I was looking for and started to walk away. An older lady said excuse me stop super loud. So I turned around tryna see who was being yelled at. She was yelling at me. So I said wtf do you want? She looked scared and walked off lol I'm 5ft 10 and walk like I'm on a mission ( so I've been told lol ) but why I got so mad was because, she noticed me walking away and decided to yell at me. Like I'm about to walk away and noooow you want help. Wtf lady. I hope she never tries that with the employees there

Story 3 was similar to an extent,
for me, I'm at target doing a bit of shopping wearing a final fantasy 14 lanyard, a Karen approached me demanding to get her some soda, I'm a "act nice I'll be nice, act like a bitch I'll say it to your face" she was demanding and rude and she wanted a specific soda, I got it for her, looked her right in the face and shook the cans up, then tossed the pack to her, she obviously dropped it, and they exploded,
About 10 minutes later she came up to me with a manager and wanted me fired, he asked what made her think I worked there, "the lanyard, duh what are you a child, how can you not tell that th....." she realized the color of the managers lanyard, the cashier's lanyard and baggers, are different from mine
I replied nicely but condescending, "oh you mean this gaming lanyard I got from a friend, let's see what I have it has (lists the jobs) none of these say target, so if you could please leave me alone for the 20th time I asked you, but you insisted I worked here and stalked me thru the store, miss manager, could you keep her in here so she doesn't follow me to my car and stalk me after getting my license plate info, please
Payed for my stuff and walked out, I could see her arguing with her manager and a security that had to be called over

Motorized cart story: Hmmm... didn't Karen say she didn't think she could walk today? Seems she did well enough following you through the store. I have problems walking and use the carts too. If none are available I either sit down and wait for one or if I'm only picking up a couple of things, I use a regular cart and lean on it rather heavily.
Deadpool shirt story: OP, I would have punched her when she spun me around. I wouldn't have waited for a second assault. You grab other people at your own risk.
Walmart soda story: Well done, OP!
Fancy gardener story: OP, I have to assume you were using a hose to water your garden. If she was coming up towards me aggressively, she would have gotten soaked!
Shoe rack story: Yeah, about the time she grabbed me, she would have severely regretted doing so.
Coles Karen story: Yeah, after first getting the headphones pulled out and then grabbed, well that's TWO assaults on your person. Karen would have been getting introduced to the FLOOR!
