I’m so proud of him. Even through all the toxicity and mess he was surrounded by, he grew up into a mature young man. It’s so easy to be wrapped up in the drama between adults and to have it played out on National TV, I can’t imagine how he must have felt. The way he’s handling all of this shows he’s a truly commendable young man.

I agree - he is a good basketball player too, I saw him play last year because we live in the same county and his school played against my grandson school - Little Mendecees is a very good point. He is such a handsome little boy but him and Yandy has always had a good relationship with him but it would be nice for the moms to bury the hatchet and Samantha and Yandy to get along for his sake.

Lil mendeces is HIS DAD. Those words of wisdom from his dad get through to him whether he realizes it or not. This young man has matured so quickly. Only 14 yrs old and has more sense then the other grown men on this show. Its crazy when a teenager has to set the bar for how to transcend through life
Years and years of his father being present since birth - the only time he wasn’t around was when he was locked up. He has always been a great father to that young man his mom didn’t have to worry about anything. I agree his father was always speaking words of wisdom to him.
@@misskitty5570 He is in between somewhere because last year he was playing JV for a school in Cobb County - my grandson team played against his and they were all 9th or 10th graders for sure - he is also a very good basketball player, very good.
@Chan D. - he is definitely older than 14 - his JV high school team played against my grandson’s team last spring-those boys were at least 15 and some just turned 16-I think his bio said he was a sophomore then. So he is more like 16 at least.

This was a good exchange. So many things on reality TV are scripted, this felt real and thoughtful. Whatever drama they are contracted to for the screen time, I hope they continue to nurture their actual families. Someone is doing something right, Lil Mendeecees is a very kind and intelligent young man. It's nice to hear him share his thoughts, he is very emotionally mature.
The Samantha on that reunion is nothing like the Samantha in real life. I’ve ran into her in real life many times and we chatted briefly as she knows some of my family members and she is the most genuine down to earth woman I have ever met. I’ve never met her son however he did play ball and go to school with a few of my nephews and they say he is a really nice young man. Samantha is really dope in real life.

Aww this just made me shed a tear! He has grown up to be a handsome well spoken young man. I always wondered how he felt when all the mess was going down with Yandy and Samantha. I love the open dialogue and how he is able to open up and share with Yandy. Samantha will always be his mom, but how lucky is he to have a bonus mom like Yandy, I don't care who don't like Yandy she loves her step children!

This was absolutely amazing to see. The bond they seem to have is really special. The only thing is, if Kim wants an apology from Yandy, Yandy should be big enough to give it. Cause what happened was foul. And then again, Kim should also apologize, if wanted, cause she also did the most in certain situations. Hopefully all of them have grown and they are able to create a stable relationship
Both Kim and Mendecees mom made the shxt worse! Samantha is grown and can speak for herself, I think her and Yandy could've resolved things off camera between the two of them.

I don’t know why this made me tear eyed. Lil Mendeeses reminds me so much of my son, and conversations we had about my mistakes and how it affected him. I’m not the biggest fan of Yandy but the relationship with her bonus son is precious and sweet to watch. They really love each other. I hope the mothers are eventually able get to a space where everyone can move past all the hurt for the sake of the kids.
Na, I disagree I believe that moment forever changed their relationship. He may respect her as his dads wife because he’s a respectable young man. But I think that’s far as it goes. He still affected from such a young age which is why he told her about it. And then she just glossed over it.

This young man is respectable, articulate and in many ways resilient. To navigate the world of reality T.V. since a young age and remain as humble as he is, is a true testament to the village that has raised and guided him thus far. These reality folks must always keep at the forefront of their minds that these children, family, friends and schoolmates alike all have access to their lives and depending how they present and rep themselves will determine the level of damage (mentally and emotionally) it will eventually cause on all involved and connected.

It's easy for Yandy to easily move when she wasn't physically attacked on national TV. Caused by the lies she was spreading and the passive-aggressive games she pulled. I don't know if she's actually genuine at this moment but you can't expect a person to move on from that. Li Mendeence might have moved on but I doubt Samantha and Kim are on the same page. And yeah, she might not want it to go that way, however, during that time she didn't care. She sat there on stage and lied about who attacked Samantha. So I don't know how this will pass. Unless Yandy admits to things she did.

She Lied to that child’s face. We saw the “fight”- she forgot her mic was on, and she literally said, “is that Kisha?”. Who’s someone in her family, and then when someone sitting next to her during the reunion asked who that was. Yandy acted like she didn’t know when she knew damn well who that was. Then when Samantha asked her when they came back out on stage she continued to lie.
Yandy is Dangerous, and if I was Samantha I would keep my sons accomplishments to just our immediate family. In Yandy’s mind their in competition.. it’s wildly sad.

This is a prime example as to why I never wanted to get involved when it came to my bf son who I loved and to possibly get into with his mother! I never wanted to get physical because I cared how he felt and I never wanted him to hate me because of it ! So I just stayed in my lane because of that very reason !

When Lil Mendeecees said that, I did feel a little shame because it's so true. When I saw Samantha get yanked at the reunion, I thought it was entertaining and funny but I never thought about the damage it could do to him being a little boy at the time.

I loved this entire segment and it’s so amazing to see how lil Mendeecee’s has grown up to me so mature! One thing though, I can’t agree with Yandy when she says “enough time has gone by” that’s why the situation should be dead by now. But the duration of time you go without speaking to someone because of your wrong doings speaks a lot to your character and if you’re self aware enough to even apologize to people. Time is not an apology!
