HEY Y’ALL! Merina is my name and Mobile Home Livin’ is my thang! Around here I’m known for mobile home makeovers and large family mobile home livin’! I used to do mobile home livin’ in a trailer park in Tennessee. We’ve set out on a new journey and bought our dream home - a double wide mobile home on some acreage in the hills of Tennessee! We’re a homeschooling family of 6 & we are crazy about Jesus!

The way you are so genuine and transparent is a testament to many of us of how God truly wants all of us to be. While watching an older video, you mentioned your "former" life so I scanned your videos to see what you were referring to. Your testimony truly blessed me. We have all fallen short at some point in our lives. But I am so thankful that God allows us to have wakeup calls to get us back on track and make us even better than before. Hey prayer warriors, I wanted to ask for prayer this evening. I have a severe case of sciatica and have been in such terrible pain. I have a 2 month old baby who I'm having trouble holding. I have an amazing husband who took time off work to care for both of us, but I'm praying for healing. I want to be able to hold my beautiful daughter without pain and for my husband to be able to return to work. ❤

Love the refresh on the porch. I trust your visions when you aren’t quite satisfied with what you’ve done, and think about what you really want! Looks great!! I know I already commented but I have more to say 😂 I just wanted to add I think this was the perfect tribute to the single wide!! It brings back so many good memories! Now as much as I want to see that entire color scheme in the new place myself, I want you to do what YOU want of course and if that oyster bay and the other colors makes you happy go for it girl! But if you're wanting to bring back the Jacobean I think most of us are BEYONDDD here for it!!! But I do agree maybe live in this a while before changing it up, who knows. I just love this space so much and you hit it out of the park! I even went back and watched the old fall decor and fall videos in the single wide (2 years ago for those that want to see it too) just bc of all the feels it gave me! ❤

When I tell you this WARMED MY HEART I just cannot describe how it did!! This took me back to the trailer park days in all the best ways!! Don't get me wrong, I love where y'all are at and how far youve come and being in your dream home now. I want nothing but that and more for you. But I would be lying if I told you that ol single wide doesn't hold a special place in my viewer heart that can never be replaced. I know you know the feeling even more! Seeing this color scheme just brought back the Merina that I discovered, well actually before the makeovers but still, and I just can't say how much joy it brought me!! I feel like this is the only perfect look and color scheme for this place!!

When my hens are broody (trying to sit on eggs to hatch them, even though we don't have a rooster, LOL) The other chickens do tend to pick on them, I think they feel they are vulnerable.

They work so hard to raise there children but there are times when you get hateful because you are tired and it seems like you’re never going to be successful. It’s okay to be stressed. Sometimes you gotta be firm and set boundaries even if it means having an attitude!

You guys should use corner trim on the fireplace to hide the seams where the plywood panels meet and baseboard and crown on the top and bottom. Love watching you make the doublewide your mobile mansion!

Merina, the fireplace looks great. I think the old chairs around the black table would look better if you painted them black as well. When you can, you might wanna add some trim at the bottom of the fireplace and molding at the top to finish it off and caulk it in and paint it white to match the existing color. It would really make it look finished.
