I have a scheduled week for my maverick. I have already gotten the tailgate assist and the hood struts. My build week is mar 14th. Can't wait till I get my build day and window sticker. Great video.
I personally hate tailgate dampers. Too many times in grabbing a tool or something from the back and it makes me have to wait for the dang tailgate to drop when it could have taken a half second to grab what I needed. I was happy to hear the maverick came without it.
Don’t want to loose the tie down point on the tailgate when you add the damper. Hopefully somebody can figure that out. Looking like I’ve got plenty of time, ordered my hybrid 10/15. Late summer/fall?
"In-channel" window treatment? Is that a brand? My Mav is on order and would be willing to wait until a better quality part is available. (Weatherguard popped out Mav mats fast!) Thanks for the informative videos. :) The ZEEDEE assists - are they the ones from Ford Parts (ZEEDEE website doesn't list Maverick available yet)?
Got it from ebay but it was a Ford Dealership selling it. Was a bit cheaper than direct from Ford Accessories. I have always used in channel vent visors. Usually from Autovent Shades.
In channel is where it fits I self the window channel instead of being stuck in with tape. They all used to come that way and I guess they’ve changed it up.

Up grade you headlamps to switch backs their great.

Is it possible to bend the bottle cap 90 degrees up to miss the piston part of damper ?
I am sure it can be modified to work.
I still have it. Will have to try modifying it one day

I’m with you on the rubber floors. Why all truck makers don’t have that as a option confuses me, you think it would be cheaper for the maker.
I only see it in really basic work trucks now. The last truck I had it in was my 2003 Ranger Edge
