I awoke from a dream I can not remember...but as my eyes were opening I heard a voice say "John Wesley ". Two yrs ago I felt the Lord pushing me to Moravian Falls.(which i went and saw Bobby Conner)I now know there is a connection between Wesley and the Moravians but I'm still unclear what God is trying to tell me? Wondering if anyone else can relate or has any insight?
to focus your life in the word of God and prayer, to pray and meditate on the book of proverbs, and to seek the counsel of mature and wise Christians who are not pentecostal or charismatic
@11:16 John Wesley following in the tradition of health reformers which includes the great men Joseph, Moses, Elisha, and Daniel. The inspired woman of God, Ellen White, was a health reformer too.
Felix Loreto her words... 1) The rebuilding of Jerusalem will never happen (early writings ph.75) 2) people she knew would be alive for the second coming (testimonies volume one 131-132) 3) that England would declare war on the USA (about the time of the Civil War)This nation will yet be humbled into the dust. .....England did not declare war on the USA during the Civil War, and the USA was not humbled into the dust. 4)falsely prophesied that the time for salvation for sinners had passed in July 1844 5) White prophesied the world would end in 1843, 1844, 1845 and 1851. ‘the believers explained their mistake & gave reasons why they expected their Lord in 1844.’ Early Wr. p.237
@@FullArmourDetailing-Official I see certain untruths. Ellen White did not predict the world would end on any of these days. Neither did she say England would declare war on America. I could address the other points but I will stop there. God bless and may He give us true and sincere hearts.
Robert Pears and so it is today - Christians in Christ do sigh and cry over the spiritual landscape today... May the Lord have mercy and make a cry in this midnight hour.
Thanks. The Bible says some are chosen according to foreknowledge but a saint is not confirmed until after "death". The Bible also says that there is a resurrect ion of the dead the just and the unjust. The just either go to heaven or go to the future new earth. The unjust perish. This is the second death. The first death is the great white throne judgment. Revelation 20-22. Saints do not die at all but go to heaven. Their sins are forgiven. Acts 24:15, Romans 2, John 5, 1 Timothy 4:10, Hebrews 9:27. The saints will represent God in the future world. The Bible says there are Gentile nations outside Holy Jerusalem on the new earth.
It's a great video. There are some things worth pointing out though. Being born again is not the same as being saved. None of us is saved while he's on this side of heaven. Again, conversion is not a feeling; it's not rapture. We must live the new life and work out our own salvation with fear and trembling.
I find Wesley interesting but his reluctance to call a spade a spade does not compel me to believe his sermon. He doesn't believe his whole experience of the "Baptism of the Holy Spirit" as speaking in tongues is yet he says they "babbled" but did not understand what they said which is precisely what the Word says "tongues" is...unknown prayer to God. Then on top of that to believe in a trinity which was a rule made AFTER the Council of Nice is just wrong. The Jews were not waiting on or even preaching "gods"...but only ONE God and to this day still don't as, so I find fault in that doctrine, as well!

Ellen White is a false prophet.brother
@@FullArmourDetailing-Official One would think that a false prophet makes false prophecies. If so, which of her prophecies was false?

What do you think John would think about conservative Christianity today?
Masao Gonthier he would probably mourn, fast and pray

I think he would not sit around and cry. I think he would pray for strength and take action
