I know because I was a member of the NTMA when the Chinese showed up to woo us into a free trip and entertainment free of charge in return for or guidance and direction.. I quit the NTMA at that moment and told my fellow shop owners they would be sorry.. most of them are long gone… especially the Mold Shops.. nice work otherwise..
Parts are fully positioned and the press continues another 25% on an majorly excessive up-stroke. I'm guessing they have it in a press that is too small and need the extra inertia to make up for tonnage.
@@jefffromjersey52 Maybe they only have it running this slow so people can see all the die action? If it's running at a higher SPM, it wouldn't look like anything to most people.

Why is spm so slow? Just curious.
I am guessing that is the fastest they can go with air Cooling .. If they went Liquid Cooled they could definitely go faster.
