I feel like a lot of these fangames get cancelled cuz the devs really like to look like scott cawthon by sharing teasers while the actual game is not halfway done which I noticed happening for years
I will note that a lot of tycoon fan games tend to get canceled, probably due to scope creep and time issues for the devs. The only real exception that comes to mind is The Killer In Purple 2.
For whatever reason, I had an idea for some type of KIP2 remake of sorts, which would be similar to KIP2, only you could play either 3D Mode, or 2D mode, and each animatronic would have a different mechanic, along with there being new ones added I am not gonna type all the mechanics out tho
@@e1iteyoshi998 , that would’ve been some really good marketing right there. Having some little known developers making official Lego fnaf games could’ve helped sell products.
@@deathzonekiller2261 I KNOW! Lego had such a huge opportunity to commission these guys to create actual games if they got in contact with Scott, but maybe they just didn't wanna risk it, idk.
Whether you love or hate TRTF, I’ll admit I’ve always wanted to play the full TRTF 5, because it genuinely looked like it would be fun, and a breath of fresh air from the previous 4 games.
same, the game sounded soo massive and ambigious i thought it's gonna be a blast. altough after looking back, felt like it's good that it didn't, since seems like the game is an absolute mess with confused goal
I'll never forget how hyped I was when I saw that one TRTF5 trailer that mentioned updates to other games. At a cousins' house for christmas eve, doing fuck knows what and then seeing the YT notifcation... oh the nostalgia.
Hi! Im one of the fazbear tycoon devs, I was one of the concept artists and created most of the concepts like plushtrap, funtime freddy / foxy, shadow bonnie + more. I’m glad you talked about Fazbear Tycoon, but i wish that Tycoon didnt end so abruptly.
I wish so too, but many things are lost and few are gained. You and everyone else working on it did a good job, and you should be glad you at least tried while many others don’t. Thanks for the content to look back on and maybe even take notes from.
I think the biggest reason why so many of these overambitious FNAF fan-games get cancelled is because there is no profit motive. The reason why Scott Cawthon has been able to make so many games is because he was able to profit off of all the FNAF games and make even more profit from the books and merchandise. The reason why indie games in general have exploded this past decade is because the developers were able to profit off of their games and any other avenue of income derived from said games. FNAF Fan-game developers are essentially making entire indie games completely for free. If they don't have an alternative source of income like a monetization platform (Patreon, Ko-fi, Buy Me a Coffee, OnlyFans, etc.), art commissions, or the Game Jolt Creator Program, then they can't devote their time to developing their games and have to get a job in order to financially support themselves. When you take all of this AND the developers' own personal lives into account, it's no wonder so many FNAF fan-game developers lose motivation and all of these promising and once highly anticipated fan-games get cancelled. It's honestly a miracle that we've gotten so many great FNAF fan-games over the years, all things considered. The best thing Scott could do with the Fazbear Fanverse Initiative is use it to help revive some of these fan-games by giving the developers a financial incentive to resurrect and continue developing their fan-games. Only time will tell I guess..................................
yeah, but many of these fangames get severals fan-made revivals, some gets more than one at the same time, but they eventually get cancelled too Idk if we're talking about the sme project but I remember a fan-made revival of OwaF being made back in 2017
@@samuel-the-italian There was a fan-made revival of FNaF+ made by LostPawPlays but there was controversy with the US English version for using an A.I version of Scott Cawthon's Phone Guy voice.
Project Box does actually have a revival project in the works, I remember seeing a couple youtubers like Dawko play through a limited demo. It’s a whole team working on the revival and they’re seeming working really hard on getting the game to reach its full potential which I think is very cool.
Phisnom did a lot of things wrong: Posting ricroll when asked to act serious Doubling down on it when cald out Childishly refused to apologise for unprofessional behaviour until his friends and defacto boss forced him to Even him playing ruin at all after saying he doesn't want to, only for the entire steam to be nothing but him sabotaging it. I'll be honest, i myself don't see what he said problematic on a personal level, HOWEVER, as a developer of an upcoming big project, as a representative of his fanbase, at the very least, as an adults arguing with childrens, he should have acted mature. I'm okay with people farting and scratching their balls, but obviously not when you are on the stage. Fnaf+ cancellation is entirely Phisnom's fault, it doesn't matter if victim was an asshole, it doesn't matter if it was people not from his fandom. It was Phil's behaviour that directly resulted in him no longer being developer of fnaf+, everyone else can be judjed for their own behaviour on their own.
Hell, it would've been a simple way for Phisnom to have avoid that situation together. If, instead of rickrolling, he said "yeah, those guys should just f**k off"
Exactly. A lot of people look at the situation and say "Twitter cancelled him for having an opinion" when it had nothing to do with the opinion. He was fine UNTIL he posted that dumbass "apology" video, and it's even worse because the whole thing involved a kid. He honestly probably didn't have to apologize although it would've been good for his image if he actually cared about that, but I think telling his viewers/fans to "stop doing that shit" (in reference to sending death threats and gore) would've been fine.
Just a note about the Nintendo/GameJolt situation: they only targeted GameJolt because of some weird thing where technically devs could make money from ads, though I don't think that actually happened much. Nintendo probably wouldn't have chased down the FNaPokémon dev for continuing to make the sequel, as long as it was free and on another website.
I’m a viewer of Phil and I still feel awful for him. He stated an opinion and someone said they would pirate his hard work because they didn’t like his opinion (btw the “victim” was actually exposed for also being an awful person who demanded nsfw of springtrap from minors and gloated about the controversy) and Phil just wanted to lighten the situation. I’ve been in Phil’s community and NOBODY in it would ever do something like that. So he basically got cancelled because of rando’s
@bonnieplushtuber5517 From what I managed to find (and recall), the fans that were from Phil's community were actually fans from mainly the FNAF community instead. I hate the general FNAF fans because this drama always goes down. There's a reason I just causally look at FNAF stuff and fangames and don't consider myself a fan nowadays.
He never said he would pirate it? Phil said Ruin was boring so the kid joked that they should say Plus is boring when it came out, got sent gore cause of that and rightfully thought the people doing it were part of Phil's fandom. The kid's still a shitty person but in no way should Phil have responded to it with making jokes about it and making a fake apology doc because people were rightfully upset that he wasn't taking things seriously. Literally no one is in the right and it's better that Plus is canned, Phil said himself that he felt relieved after not having to work on it anymore
“btw the “victim” was actually exposed for also being an awful person who demanded nsfw of springtrap from minors and gloated about the controversy)” Yes thank you! Everyone who’s talked about FNAF Plus’s cancellation always seems to leave this part of the narrative of the game’s cancellation out. Though now I have even less sympathy for the “victim” now. I did actually end up getting roped into a conversation on another video with the kid in question and let’s just say he was not able to handle the backlash and criticism that he was being dealt from those who looked forward to Plus’s release. He actually had a mental breakdown on his Twitter account and he started spamming random tweets about some random stuff and to say it was concerning was an understatement. Also should be noted he tried to promote his artwork during the controversy too.
Hey there, i'm one of the team members behind the new upcoming version of Sinister Turmoil: Sewers, and i just wanted to clarify a few things about Sinister Turmoil and it's future. First off the things you said about it in the video are pretty much correct, however you forgot to mention that Sewers is technically still being worked on as what's commonly referred to as the "Major Update" which i need to clarify something about that since i saw someone else mention it. This upcoming version of the game changed a ton since people have last seen it that it kind of just dropped the "Major Update" title and it became what i'd refer to as a full on remake meaning Different: Map, Mechanics, Enemy AI, Story, Music, Characters, Sounds you name it, it's basically been redone from scratch. We haven't been posting a lot about it beacuse we can't really show much publicly as things are still very much unfinished and needing more work to be done, but when thigns are getting more finalized we'll start posting publicly again. As on when it might be out, i can't say really as we're not setting any deadlines for ourselves cause that's what ruined the original version of the game which in our eyes was a hot mess, main reason why it's remade. But just so people are aware, the game is still in the works, it's slow but steady, mostly due to this being worked on a by a single developer and it's not Angus btw that's a misconception people have, Sewers is entirely being worked on by Achebe with a help of writers, music composer and modellers, Angus is more or less taking the back seat. As for it's future, like "What's after Sewers?" Well all i can say is stick around, cause we do have plans and that's all i'm gonna say. If anyone's has any questions, you can ask me in the replies below and i'll try to answer them to the best of my abilities Also comepltely unrelated to what i was talking about above but A TRTF Story: Desolation is not cancelled, i know Breim, i'm literally talking with him like almost daily and the game is still very much in the works. Apologies for such a long comment but there was a lot i needed to get off my chest
So I am a fnafb fan and I can proudly say that dev came back to the fnafb one last time to end their story aka they’re make a new game called fnafb qed which is apparently will be the last game.
From what I've heard, Fnaf Plus and Project box are both getting remakes on gamejolt. Project Box is being reimagined with new lore, and Fnaf Plus is being remake 1:1 with the original, using both information from Phil and the teasers. If anyone wants me to put links to these projects, let me know.
I do remember back in 2020, there was a cancelled FNaF fan game for FNaS called Five Nights at Sonic Maniac Mania Plus, it had a ton of skins and even Flumpty and Mac Tonight from what I remember, I was one hyped for it, but it got cancelled and got turn into a Cancelled Build (And this was probably why FNaS has to be my all time favourite FNaF Fan Game)
FYI : Nikson work in Glowstick Entertainment too, he is probably one of them that making Dark Deception and currently they're still continuing for the Chapter 5 or Dark Deception Ending.
I was the voice actor and for a short moment, a co-director for a cancelled fnaf world fangame called Fnaf World Resprited. I have a whole folder with some assets and a few vouce lines but that's about it.
Do we even remember the same situation? He did take it seriously, in his response video to it, he explains that FNAF Plus was being cancelled & he was stepping away from the Fanverse because of that drama. It's likely Scott would've let Phil continue making the game despite what Phil's opinion was on SB:Ruin.
@@Pyrotrainthing He took it seriously _after_ everything already got out of control. How is making jokes about the situation while it's unfolding anything other than "not taking it seriously"?
@@googleruinedyoutube It's almost like people on the internet are 99% strangers to one-another and people will only care about things when it affects them directly.
It's crazy to think that fnaf plus was cancelled because of twitter drama. They should have handed the project over to someone else then, cancelling it entirely was the worst possible way to handle the situation.
Kinda weird for the LEGO fan game they were worried about legal issues with Scott, who straight up gave people permission to make fan content, but weren't at all worried about LEGO.
can we please let people finish their kickass looking game first, and then cancel them later? how many times have we seen a great looking fangame release a demo, then the creator gets his reputation demolished for some controversy, right before the game's release?
@@bruhchannel1216 It was more like he was an actively mocking and bitter asshole towards people that were being harassed by others who associated with his fans and didn't actually try to save face until his wallet was on the line, but yeah. We shouldn't have lost the game regardless
Seeing how many fnaf fangames get canceled, it's why I'm so pessimistic whenever a new fnaf fangame gets announced, knowing that there's a high chance of it being pulled.
That's how I feel about mods, the Belerand mod for Rome Remastered being cancelled was the last straw for being hyped for them, I'm glad for good mods to come out but it's hard to be excited when they're either delayed for YEARS or just cancelled.
Man this video needs more attention. Like i forgot about games like those nights at rachel's 2 and five nights in their world before watching this. Really cool job with this one!
It was quite an unfortunate trip to the Fan game Graveyard. At lot of theses had quite a potential, though some got revived as different games that still managed to come out and satisfy everyone. Its a reminder that ablot of games were cancelled and we need to respect that decision. And I would like to put in a little honorable mention: Night Shift- this would have been a fan game that would be a free roam like Fnaf security breach and the aforementioned cancelled Chompers. From what I've heard, the game is unfortunately cancelled due to its lead developer, Xylerguy, not only not paying his team of 25 people, but was also exposed for sending quite freaky stuff to a 16 year old(Such as that Cheese Pizza, and i do not mean by the edible kind). Overall, Nigth Shift could have been a great fan game if it wasn't for the terrible choices Xylerguy had made.
@@e1iteyoshi998 i don't remember xylerguy being part of the pear. It was Ramenov, Ultranite, Meckless, and a 4th member, which Tyler did discuss about that 4 th member in a entry in herFNaF controversies iceberg.
I’m honestly sad how jonochrome ended up. I watched danTDM play every riddle school game there was, and played them myself only a few days after. Then I wake up about 3 years ago, nostalgia from over 7 or so years ago crashes right back down as the word pedophile is plastered in my face. I know he apologized, but damn I didn’t expect him to end up like mandopony.
Dude, just wanna say - I LOVE this review. You cover nearly all popular/sensationalized and indie fangames. The amount of drama surrounding them is honestly disheartening. Between games that have been outright cancelled/removed, to those taken down because of controversy. I really appreciate the transparency you provided here. Those Nights at Rachel’s will get it’s day in the sun, it was taken from us too soon.
Close friends with Skye and another person who worked on Afton built, SuperS23. Needless to say, they were pretty bummed out about the whole thing. I've only spoken to Liam once due to having mutual friends but it was very brief, and I never brought the topic up during the conversation. Always interesting to see people take a crack at the situation and then send the video to Skye afterwards, lol.
i gotta say i still find aftonbuilt hilarious, they basically went "alright let's make an official fangame, LETS AMP UP THE PRODUCTION TO THE POINT THAT ITS UNSUSTAINABLE UNLESS WE GET FUNDING FROM CAWTHON SENPAI" then it doesn't and they go "he's unprofessional :( he doesn't want ACTUAL fangames :(" and by they i mean liam
Honestly those nights at Rachel’s 2 the one we got is a national treasure I mean who wouldn’t have fun with a game we’re T posing floating animatronics tried to kill you while you defend yourself the gun
I saw someone say this when the controversy happened and it's so true: FNaF+ was clearly never going to be finished. If you watched any of Phil's streams during 2023, it's clear he absolutely despised both the FNaF games and community, so it's hard to believe that he would have any interest in finishing the game because the people wanted it.
this is a fucking lie. he gives critique of the series because he loves it. your fundamental lack understanding of what actual criticism is a sympton of your fundamental lack of braincells. respectfully you're more of an asshat then he'll ever be
@@wolfietronic356 no like genuinely thats what had happened the situation around the state of the games and the community lead to phil having zero motivation to make plus
That reads like "Those grapes were sour, anyway." we have no idea the content or its state to completion as the public so making a claim like that is ridiculous.
@@Pyrotrainthing bro ur replying to every comment to glaze Phill's ass Ur not his "knight in shining armor" bro he is not gonna care about you or comments about him lmao
Being crazy into FNaF fangames in 2014-2018 taught more about depression and grieve than my life probably will lmao. I was checking the FNaF page on Gamejolt nearly EVERY DAY back then, I remember even checking out several of the lost demos, like the Freddy Demo of Sinister Turmoil, trying to do anything due to my shit-ass PC at the time pulling strong 2-5 FPS lmao. The nostalgia is real. Btw, should've also thrown in the Five Nights at Sonic's series, that thing is like TRTF but kinda smaller
So I have an interesting interaction I still look back on when I was a bit younger, like 20 years old, I was just chilling in a discord, a small FNaF content creator, let's call them M, they were a younger person. We just sort of hung out and just played video games together when he got home from school. One day he was having a bad time mentally. He was very close to a knife's edge that day. I helped him calm down, he said he wanted to tell me something someone sent him, I thought it was just going to be some FNaF news or something, but he ended up sending me some unseen/never seen before from the creator BonBunFilms. I think it was a FNaF based or something like that. Something related to FNaF. All I remember is that it was unfinished and there was a lot of controversy around it and for it taking so long, and the Freddy I saw in that game was mainly made of fabric and looked more like actual mascot animatronics. I won't reveal what I saw, but that's all I'm going to say because I don't make it more of an issue.
I am getting the Lego bootleg fnaf 1 show stage set and the fnaf movie minifigures because Lego’s never going to make it? Ain’t that right tylerland264.
Very good video. You made a lot of great information. While I did look forward to some of those fan games in the past, they may not see the light of day ever. I do agree that those type ideas can be used in future projects.
You don't know how many times I'd replay the Those Nights At Fredbear's trailer back then when it was announced, it's a shame that it was cancelled cause it honestly looked good for it's time though I'm glad Nikson is still developing TJOC Remastered and I hope to see other future projects from him!
For those curious about the Jonochrome thing, he was in a relationship with a minor (13 when he was 21) around 2016 for like five years. To which he fessed up to. Apparently he came back in a video almost 10 days ago.
Note!: Sinister Turmoil Sewers is getting a massive update. While it's a slow, slow cook, they are cooking real good and I'm excited to see what they pull off with the update. It includes a new save system, gates to block the animatronics (which they can either climb over or break), fixed bugs, new features like mantling and an improved throwing system, being able to *stun* animatronics with throwing stuff at their face, and of course... well, a new threat. Again, I don't know everything, but I've been following the page and I have been on the Discord too for the game (though I left a decent bit ago due to personal reasons, nothing against the developers or anyone on the discord). I'm excited for the update and what it will bring in store.
Wow wasn't expecting to see you here, but most of what you said is correct, however this isn't really considered an update anymore( I explained it in a comment). Glad to see there are still people looking forward to this and hopefully you as well as others like what we're gonna put out eventually.
The cancellation of Fnaf + was a shitshow from the get go mostly because the minor was fueling the fire in every possible way, mostly encouraging people to harrass Phil on Twiiter and Scott via email to cancel the game, and going damage control mode when the game was removed from Steam and everyone was surprised the game they advacoted to be cancelled was actually cancelled, saying that’s not what he wanted despite the fact he endorsed hashtags made specifically get the game cancelled, he’s currently suspended on Twitter for allegedelly sending gore to people not supporting them during the controversy, it’s sad man
Actually, Porkchop's Horror Show DOES have a bit of hope! Phil, at some point in time, said he "Wanted to do it as an original game", and knowing what he's said about his future game dev endeavors, I wouldn't be that surprised if he reused some stuff from Porkchop's Horror Show, just with edits, for a future game. (NOTE: Some of this MAY be a bit inaccurate, I don't remember much of this stuff, but the point still stands.)
@TheFazzyDude Recently Phil did a bluesky Q&A and in there someone asked if Porkchop’s will ever return one day as an original ip and Phil replied with “Probably” So we will most likely see a return of Porkchop’s in maybe a few years from now
This video was pretty good Tyler, but there are some things I thought I should add on to; First off, the Twitter user that sparked the FNAF Plus controversy didn't tell people to pirate the game once it released, they told people to call the game 'boring' upon it's launch in retaliation to Phil calling Ruin boring. I also think they may have been kidding and weren't planning on needlessly hating on FNAF Plus. Secondly, Sinister Turmoil: Sewers is a snip-it of a completely different version of Sinister Turmoil, not the original one from 2016 as your segment on it implies. Sewers is derived from the new version of Sinister Turmoil that began development when UHQ_GAMES handed the project onto Angus WW. That game takes place in an abandoned theme park named "Fredbear and Friend's Funland" instead of.............................wherever the original game took place. I'm honestly pretty disappointed that you didn't talk about the second version as It was objectively much cooler, more inspired, and a lot more fleshed out than the first version. You also didn't mention that the developers of Sewers are still making content for the game to this day. They've added new features, new assets, new locations in the sewers, and even a brand new animatronic! Look it up on the Game Jolt page, I was shocked too when I found out they were still developing the game. Also, fun fact about the original Sinister Turmoil: apparently the developers never actually created a multiplayer component for the game throughout its entire development. UHQ announced that Sinister Turmoil would have a multiplayer mode solely to drum up more hype for the game :) Thirdly, Nathan Zica never officially cancelled FNAF Evolution 2. Sure he lost the game files and doesn't have the same motivation to make fan games any more, but he never officially cancelled it. If Nathan ever wants to return to developing Evolution 2, he very well could. FNAF Evolution 2 seems to be in a state of hiatus, but still technically not cancelled. And finally, I know you said you wanted to cover some lesser known fan-games, but I still felt like you should have talked about more notable fan-games instead of more niche ones that not many people know about; Like Sweet Dreams, The Rat Cave, Night Shift, Para||el, Five Nights at Fina's, the first version of Original Location, Mechanical Space Reborn, Sister Location: Unreal Engine Edition, Unreal Shift at Freddy's, Analog, Fright Night, Lucky Cat and the Misfits, Insanity 2, Project Wonderland, Post-Shift 1.5, and 1997 (Holy FUCK there are dozens of these thing). Oh, one last thing, Phisnom did nothing wrong
@@ikaikakaahanui2457 Technically, Sinister Turmoil is still cancelled, but the developers are expanding the sewers part of the game from way back in January 2020 So, no and yes
I agree with everything and I'd like to thank you for your informations, but I honestly think that it's nice she picked on more niche fangames. I've never seen anyone talking about Five Nights at Their World before, and what's the point of talking about thins that majority of ppl already knows about?

I think the original version of Five Nights With Mac Tonight 3 is the one that sucks the most, for me, at least, being the longtime Malrat/PNM fan that I am. The idea of a FNAF 4-esque game in the FNwMT series is pretty sweet, and it being the nightmares likely following the unfortunate events Chris had gone through in the FNwMT timeline (Before he got a broken Mac head forced on his face) is also a neat idea. I do still like the FNwMT 3 we ended up with, but it sucks that the original version got cancelled.
Feels like Aftonbuilt only got turned down because Scott most likely wanted a game like that to be an official release of the series (like Security Breach) but still Joy of Creation exist so. Interesting case...
39:14 i know why, i made a video called five nights at thomas 4 debunk talking about the game's cancelled aspects and jfun300 commented on it and he mentioned about the second game remake, he said that he had college work and stuff he had to focus on but whenever he has time he'd start working on it
i cant wait for the joy of creation full game next year man i miss these old fangames i favor the those nights at fredbears since it started a youtubers screaming career
Sad that porkchops was gone that game had so much potential. Edit ( I know the lore and I know that there is an archive file where there is bts images of the game)
One week at flumpty's is probably the most iconic scraped fnaf fangame imo And hey, One week at flumpty's walked so One night at flumpty's 3 could gallop years later. Also, oh boy, Chomper's was...something. I also feel bad for the fanverse because I doubt its image is any good right now
I'm only gonna do one that I knew of FNAF Plus Wow OVER SAYING RUIN IS MID. I know Phisnom can be a bit rude but all this happened OVER A VIDEO GAME. OWAF I DO NOT LIKE JONOCHROME but I get the mind set of not wanting to only be known for making fan games and wanting to be more original. Project Box Not a fan of the novels due to corny Springtrap and Sexy Baby(I'm still not over why that exist) but for a fan game the pixel art style was FIRE and I think Into The Pit was like a tribute to it
I was there when the Phisnom Controversy happened. I actually was following the minor at the time who claimed that when FNaF Plus comes out, we should say that it's boring, like how Phil said Ruin was boring. The mods of the FanSewer server (Fan server for the community) had reached out to the minor for proof of the death threats, but the minor never sent any. The mods wanted to make sure they banned anyone from the server who was sending the death threats, since they clearly didn't want to support that. Supposedly there's proof that there hasn't been anyone within the community that sent death threats, but I'm not sure. Regardless, Phil did fuck up by joking about it, and has actively acknowledged it. I've seen people get upset that he complains about it once in a while, but I don't blame him though. From the streams, he has stated that he was ALMOST done with FNaF Plus, he just needed to make the music (because otherwise he was going to need to get a contract with a musician to even bring one onboard which can take longer than hoped for), and do a few bug tests and fixes. If the situtation was better, we would have gotten FNaF Plus. And if I recall correctly, Phil mentioned that he was going to work on Porkchops again, but he was thinking of making it it's own series, and not connected to FNaF anymore. But I could be completely wrong there
@@NotAMoron42 sorry for the late check in but i actually did boot up those demos and they all worked! not much to them because there rather short but they still worked

Damn I didn’t know fnaf plus was cancelled. I kinda just let myself forget about it since I knew Dawko or Ryan would upload their videos to it as soon as it came out.
I have heard of reconstructed erosions of FNAF plus, I kind of wish we could have some builds of the actual game to see what it entails, then again, I doubt any dev builds will surface making FNAF plus builds lost to time.
As someone who's been working on a fangame for nearly 6 years off and on, having to cancel it and work through development hell multiple times, this video resonates with me. When I see someone who doesn't have the time, funds, or support that other developers have, to the point where it leads them to give up, it makes me sad. It's not fair, but everyone's situation is different. Whoever's reading this, if a friend of yours or someone you know is working on something cool, whether it's art, film, story, or a game, show them some support. Because it means a lot when people feel seen. And as cliche as it sounds, even just one person can make a world of difference.
Huh Project Box is something I do not remember but perhaps I only remember the vague hint for SuperFNAF2? Dang this is something to learn about new and old.
I remember seeing sinister turmoil, I hope we can find the lost demos of the game, hell, even a prototype build of the full game itself. (Edit) I think a fnaf lost media iceberg is possible due to how much lost media in general there is with FNAF content.
Ik this game and its creator are rightfully despised, but I'd like to see a version of Dormitabis that was in line with the original teasers that were showing a point and click free roam style
The fact that you didn't mention any of the Kingdom Hearts inspiration with Fboy's ASL is honestly criminal... Unless you don't know about Kingdom Hearts.
im suprised nintendo never took down the fnaw series. you´d think they would since mario luigi toad bowser wario luigi are in the games. but i guess since wwwario used png´s or sum that didnt let them?
it's so sad that these great fan games get cancelled while games like Security Breach gets released, we're truly living in the darkest timeline pretty sure i said this joke before on other videos about this topic
the entire thing about FNaF+ is that if only Phil actually took off his toxic persona and look into the situation more seriously early on, it could've been resolved and avoided rather quickly. (There's also a can of worm about how the minor who calls out Phil's comment's behave, but let's not dive deep into that) Like i genuinely believe that FNaF+ is actually already completed and was waiting for it's release date, which we can assume it's on the FNaF 10th Anniversary alongside Into the Pitt since it was soo near and the perfect timing
I feel like OWAF getting cancelled was for the better since Jonochrome had no passion for it, ONAF shouldn't have lore, and it threw out what made the games fun. Especially since we got ONAF3 out of it.
It genuinely sucks that a pile of twitter idiots got Phil canceled. We gotta stop listening to people who are so chronically online they'll incite a cancellation for just not liking ruin
Hope you guys enjoy!
For whatever reason, I had an idea for some type of KIP2 remake of sorts, which would be similar to KIP2, only you could play either 3D Mode, or 2D mode, and each animatronic would have a different mechanic, along with there being new ones added
I am not gonna type all the mechanics out tho

Whether you love or hate TRTF, I’ll admit I’ve always wanted to play the full TRTF 5, because it genuinely looked like it would be fun, and a breath of fresh air from the previous 4 games.
I have...Mixed feelings about TRTF
On one hand, the original saga is objectively terrible. On the other hand, I have a soft spot for it.
same, the game sounded soo massive and ambigious i thought it's gonna be a blast.
altough after looking back, felt like it's good that it didn't, since seems like the game is an absolute mess with confused goal
As much as i think TRTF was confusing and weird, it gives me a lot of nostalgia
I'll never forget how hyped I was when I saw that one TRTF5 trailer that mentioned updates to other games. At a cousins' house for christmas eve, doing fuck knows what and then seeing the YT notifcation... oh the nostalgia.
Hi! Im one of the fazbear tycoon devs, I was one of the concept artists and created most of the concepts like plushtrap, funtime freddy / foxy, shadow bonnie + more. I’m glad you talked about Fazbear Tycoon, but i wish that Tycoon didnt end so abruptly.
@@dasabucket2423 For what it's worth, you did an amazing job with the character designs
Honestly I remember when Aftonbuilt everyone was quick to jump on the bandwagon and almost ended up blaming Scott.
When scott whas making the original fnaf games he did not profit from them later he did via some plushies and that was it

Project Box does actually have a revival project in the works, I remember seeing a couple youtubers like Dawko play through a limited demo. It’s a whole team working on the revival and they’re seeming working really hard on getting the game to reach its full potential which I think is very cool.
One thing I’ll always think of when it comes to fnaf+ is how toxic it can be
Edit correction: the fandom
@@angerydestroyer the game itself was good but the ratings was just toxic
Phisnom did a lot of things wrong:
Posting ricroll when asked to act serious
Doubling down on it when cald out
Childishly refused to apologise for unprofessional behaviour until his friends and defacto boss forced him to
Even him playing ruin at all after saying he doesn't want to, only for the entire steam to be nothing but him sabotaging it.
If, instead of rickrolling, he said "yeah, those guys should just f**k off"
Gonna be honest, I laughed at the Rick Roll part, IM SORRY OK
Nintendo probably wouldn't have chased down the FNaPokémon dev for continuing to make the sequel, as long as it was free and on another website.
as a dev of a cancelled fnaf fan game it is extremely sad to see some of these be cancelled but i do get it
I’m a viewer of Phil and I still feel awful for him.
Yikes. It's disturbing how common it is for Twitter users to be bad people.
“btw the “victim” was actually exposed for also being an awful person who demanded nsfw of springtrap from minors and gloated about the controversy)”
Yes thank you!

If anyone's has any questions, you can ask me in the replies below and i'll try to answer them to the best of my abilities
Also comepltely unrelated to what i was talking about above but A TRTF Story: Desolation is not cancelled, i know Breim, i'm literally talking with him like almost daily and the game is still very much in the works.

For those curious about the Jonochrome thing, he was in a relationship with a minor (13 when he was 21) around 2016 for like five years. To which he fessed up to. Apparently he came back in a video almost 10 days ago.

@TheFazzyDude Recently Phil did a bluesky Q&A and in there someone asked if Porkchop’s will ever return one day as an original ip and Phil replied with “Probably” So we will most likely see a return of Porkchop’s in maybe a few years from now
@@TheFazzyDude the game most likely is being done from scratch to not relate with fnaf in any way possible
This video was pretty good Tyler, but there are some things I thought I should add on to;
First off, the Twitter user that sparked the FNAF Plus controversy didn't tell people to pirate the game once it released, they told people to call the game 'boring' upon it's launch in retaliation to Phil calling Ruin boring.
UHQ announced that Sinister Turmoil would have a multiplayer mode solely to drum up more hype for the game :)
Thirdly, Nathan Zica never officially cancelled FNAF Evolution 2.

I remember watching every update of sinister turmoil back as a kid. Sad to see it got discontinued
Even if a lot of these games will most certainly never come out and might even be lost to time in the coming years their legacy will never die
One week at flumpty's is probably the most iconic scraped fnaf fangame imo
And hey, One week at flumpty's walked so One night at flumpty's 3 could gallop years later.
Also, oh boy, Chomper's was...something.
I also feel bad for the fanverse because I doubt its image is any good right now
At this point it doesn’t really have any image, due to the fact many things funded by it have also been going through development hell. Sad.
yeah i won't lie this is how i found out a solid 10-15 games i was patiently waiting for are not happening anymore i'm gonna poop
Great video dude.
So I honestly didn't know there was lore for Five Nights at thomas...
Mainly because I could never understand a word on any of the phone calls
I'm only gonna do one that I knew of
FNAF Plus
Wow OVER SAYING RUIN IS MID. I know Phisnom can be a bit rude but all this happened OVER A VIDEO GAME.
OWAF
I DO NOT LIKE JONOCHROME but I get the mind set of not wanting to only be known for making fan games and wanting to be more original.
Project Box
Not a fan of the novels due to corny Springtrap and Sexy Baby(I'm still not over why that exist) but for a fan game the pixel art style was FIRE and I think Into The Pit was like a tribute to it
I was there when the Phisnom Controversy happened.
But I could be completely wrong there
oh damn i dident know most of those sinister termoil demos were lost
i actually saved most of those on my pc and still have them to this day
Dude see if it still works, that stuff could be gold in terms of lost media even if it just needs some minor coding adjustments
@@NotAMoron42 sorry for the late check in but i actually did boot up those demos and they all worked! not much to them because there rather short but they still worked
@@hunbun8821 that’s a breakthrough, you need to get those archived at some point. I don’t exactly know how to, but if you can that would end up being a huge win for the lost media side of things.
I will always remember those nights at Rachels 2.
Well in the books there are 3 different Fat controllers so maybe it has to do with that
It’s a generational title
Aftonbuilt was one of the few games I actually wouldn’t paid 50 bucks to play…I want it so bad…Project Box looks sick as well
Damn I didn’t know fnaf plus was cancelled. I kinda just let myself forget about it since I knew Dawko or Ryan would upload their videos to it as soon as it came out.
29:58
Jolly mentioned 🔥🔥🔥
i used to always wanna make my own and even made steam communities for them but never got anywhere
NGL the FNAF+ models were just so... hilarious looking.
I'm glad some people are making owaf into a full game. For anyone curious It's called Owaf Fan-Made.
have been into development since 2017 at least
Ik this game and its creator are rightfully despised, but I'd like to see a version of Dormitabis that was in line with the original teasers that were showing a point and click free roam style
I STILL want FNAF Plus!
Caddicarus lookin' real weird recently
it's so sad that these great fan games get cancelled while games like Security Breach gets released, we're truly living in the darkest timeline
pretty sure i said this joke before on other videos about this topic
the entire thing about FNaF+ is that if only Phil actually took off his toxic persona and look into the situation more seriously early on, it could've been resolved and avoided rather quickly. (There's also a can of worm about how the minor who calls out Phil's comment's behave, but let's not dive deep into that)
Like i genuinely believe that FNaF+ is actually already completed and was waiting for it's release date, which we can assume it's on the FNaF 10th Anniversary alongside Into the Pitt since it was soo near and the perfect timing
I feel like OWAF getting cancelled was for the better since Jonochrome had no passion for it, ONAF shouldn't have lore, and it threw out what made the games fun. Especially since we got ONAF3 out of it.
I am surprised you upload this video early.
I’m still pissed the Lego FNAF games got canned.
I would’ve loved to play it.
It genuinely sucks that a pile of twitter idiots got Phil canceled. We gotta stop listening to people who are so chronically online they'll incite a cancellation for just not liking ruin
"No! You don't understand! We must treat all opinions as though they are worth a place in the public or not!"
Jokes aside couldn't agree more.
