That team was awesome and fun to watch. I would love to see Ayo stay, and I think he should. Would be fun to see Ayo, Trent, Miller, Griffin, Kofi first team.
Then Damonte, Cubelo, Jones, Giorgi, and the rest.
A three guard set has always worked with Illinois. In 1989, all those guys were around 6’5 to 6’8, and Dee, Deron, and Luther were quick as a hiccup.
Go Illini. Not there yet but moving in the right direction.
