Friends is my all time favorite show and got me through so many difficult times. Matthew Perry will always have my heart. Chandler is part of my personality and soul lol. I was at work, bartending. One of my regulars showed me the headline and just said, “hey look at this”.. I immediately burst into tears and had to gather myself. I love you forever Matthew Perry. Thank you for everything.

friends I do watch it I used to watch it because it's Jennifer Jennifer Aniston who played Rachel so beautiful but I also watched it because Matthew Perry I could relate as a huge awkward goofball relate 😢 it breaks my heart to hear that you passed away he was a good man may he rest in peace in my heart goes out to his family❤ he's in a better place ❤🙏
I reacted like Christina Ricci and burst to tears. I think for most of us, Chandler was that one character who we somehow all connected to. Whether it was his comedy, sarcasm, insecurities, etc.... we all at some point felt like he was our best friend. I am a diehard Friends fan but still didn't think much or hear much in last 8 years, but the fact that his death is hitting so many of us so hard, shows how talented, kind, compassionate, and loved he was. I hope he knows how truly loved he was by the whole world.

I usually don't react to celebrity deaths. But, I truly believe that Matthew Perry and Robin Williams were special human beings. I didn't know either one of them personally, but something about them makes me be sure that they're souls were special. And these two celebrity deaths, have hurt me.

Matthew perry was a large part of my life and kind of a role model for me. His unique kind of sarcasm and humor really resonated with me as an autistic kid. The energy he brought to his roles was infectious and everytime I would watch him I would have a great laugh and feel inspired to get something done. RIP my friend and may you be forever in our hearts.

The show had such a unique way to connect with us, portraying stories that could very well happen to each and everyone of us in our daily lives. Let's understand that Matthew is gone and well somehow we are all emotionally attached to his character so much that, something feels vacant now. But he was very much unaddressed till he was alive. So it would do no good to him after he is gone. He should have been appreciated, helped and saved when he was there alive i guess ! I know it was very hard to hold back the tears after learning about his death. I would have felt the same way if I had gotten the news at my job.
