This might explain why some humans during the One Piece episodes seem unaffected by flames or even whn fighting seem to use flames out of nowhere , still this is only briefly mentioned now, damn one more question to be answered in One Piece.

The fact that they are still clashing evenly shows that they are roughly equal strength. I would still give Marco the slight edge due to his combat experience.

Keep in mind the huge disadvantage Marco was in, its not fair situation when one has to 1v2 & support an entire alliance majority of live floor while the other does not and still he remains relatively clean. I’d like to see other 1st commanders attempt to do the same

Marco can fight. He didn’t quit this fight, he has only 100% faith in Zoro and Sanji.
Marco is cleary different character. Oda make an developement really special for him, everybody must know that, even the haters.
Next, Marco rescuse Weeble and he will be is babysitter (foreshadowing when he refuse Shanks ask)

It's possible that Whitebeard Pirates never even clashed with Beast Pirates, and Marco never met King in person. The Yonko rose to power because of the reputations of their captains.

And then sanji inherited the Lunarian's ability through his Mom?
