I just recently got cameras, had to but I'm glad I did. I put them outside and have seen the foxes (blocking my deck steps now lol), possums and raccoons. I love this idea. I have had the cameras go off when the birds were eating the car food and it's so interesting to watch. Thanks for sharing 🙂
I couldn’t reply to your woodpeckers nest box. What kind of nest box does it go in can it go in eastern bluebirds as well? I have two of them or do I have to buy one certain for them Becuase I get them at my feeder frequently. I know I have dead trees further away but I just want to have a bird house just incase
To attract woopeckers you need a proper box that is longer than it is wide. This Stovall nest box is what I always got red bellied woodpeckers to nest in amzn.to/3T8DSWa if you don't want to spend the money on the dual camera one I tested recently th-cam.com/video/B9_rpv_NxhQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=80c7tLNnKDr_RR_h good luck! Hello! I just came across your channel and had to stop. Very nicely done! I recently bought a P1000 and am pretty new at photography. I know just enough to get myself in trouble. I primarily bought the camera to take video of aircraft, but the big surprise was how much I enjoy shooting birds when I take the Nikon out of the case. I can’t afford too much more equipment, so I hoping that the P1000 will do enough to pursue bird photography and videoing. Have you used the P1000 at any point? Your channel has encouraged me to at least try my hand with what I have. Thank you so much! Subscribed. Joe.
Welcome to the Backyard! The P1000 is great for bird and wildlife videos. You really don't need much but I would recommend a tripod especially if your going to be filming in a static location. you'll have some fun with that. BB
My camera buffers terribly. It’s only 40 feet from my router. The first 2 weeks it worked perfectly and it was 80 feet away. Any idea how to fix the buffering problem
The option to move it around is good
Yes, you can experiment with locations or easily take it up and down if needed. BB
Nice feeder, nice review.
Thanks, its a lot of fun. BB
Thank You, will make a nice gift for bird lovers too.
You are welcome 😊

@@MyBackyardBirding thank you for the information
thanks for the review
You bet! BB
How do you share a video from the camera? I downloaded to my iPhone, but I can't find it after, not in photos or videos.
It should be in your phones Download directory within a TrisHome sub directory.
@@MyBackyardBirding Not very intuitive, but I found it. Thank you!
Hi have lost the instructions for this can you tell me where I can download the app ?
How to turn on alerts when birds arrive
Use the string to select alert and make sure notifications are turned on for the tris home app.

If it still works well in the previous location maybe there is something unusual about the new location like interference etc.
I got one for Father's Day and find it really cool except the sparrows have overtaken the feeder so my pics and videos are very non-interesting :(
Dude, you got a mango tree?!
Its blooming like crazy right now :-)
How we do upload from this camera to You Tube does and one knows
