Serama Cajun Classic 2012 - MVI_0842.MOV

One video in a series for the Serama Cajun Classic 2012 held in Vacherie, LA on April 13th and 14th 2012 hosted by Jerry Schexnayder at Oak Alley Plantation. This was an American Bantam Association (ABA) and a Serama Council of North American (SCNA) sanctioned show. The show had over 350 Serama Bantams entered and it covered all types of Serama including White American Serama, American Serama, Malaysian Serama, Frizzled, and Silkied. It was a great event and by far the most premier Serama only show of its kind in North America.

Wow! I've never thought a breed born from my hometown actually became an international and intercontinental sensation. I am not interested in chickens but I did know it was once a really big obsession in the past. Back in the 80s-90s in my hometown Kelantan, people even got into a gory parang fights because of Serama chickens. It was so crazy back then.

This chicken we call it Serama very beautiful chicken. Very clever and got style. This Serama came from Malaysian country only. Nowdays.. many people all around the world like and want to breed. That's good.
