Thanks for joining us for today's chat. We want to know your own opinions on the topics discussed on Ratcliffe, Jadon Sancho, Greenwood & Antony!. Also, would you like to see Sofyan Amrabat stay at Man United?. Like & share the video if you enjoyed it!.
Great to have the common sense true United points. May I humbly say I am so impressed and happy to see Kieron having a positive and balanced input these days. Well done. Essential talk.
Imagine selling Sancho and Greenwood to Dortmund for a combined total of around 80M It would basically be Dortmund handing over our original fee for Sancho and getting Greenwood for free. Our transfer policy has been shocking since the Gkazers took over
Dortmund valued Sancho at £73m when we bought him, which is a lot less than they think he's worth now! They need to pay closer to their original valuation of him. Selling either for 40m is crazy, this club always seems to sell at a big loss. We should be getting around £60m each min.
Thats his position magnificent he was in the cup final we should keep him hasn't had many chances and was playing out of position and injured as well 😊
The only members of the work force who have failed us are the players the management and the executives. So lets get rid of ordinary workers. Sir Jim is no better than the Glazers.
Listen this is what should be happening, the ones that have to work from home then let them, the ones that can do the same job in the office then get in. Things are changing at our club now and it looks for the better 💯
I worked in offices where people would watch Love Island on their screens and take 40 minute coffee breaks. Ive also worked at home and been productive, people acting like you cant monitor what work people do, they absolutely can. It depends on the person and their motivation. Plenty of slackers in offices and probably plenty at home too....
We had to pay for McNeill to retrieve him from City...almost a million I think. Agree the loss of players for little and no money has been really poor in recent yrs. Even De Gea and Herrera...as our inflated wages have made it hard to sell when we could-think Maguire last season to W Ham
Basically ratcliffe is bringing austerity to United. Now take a look around the country and tell me how well that’s going (more food banks than McDonald’s less police on the streets etc etc). Can’t cut corners. Great vid lads finished watching after I finished my work from home shift. Where I performed brilliantly.
If my work said back to the office I’d be the happiest man in Manchester. My line of work has gone remote, I so miss the routine and seeing people in person.
I disagree- i dont like people and they annoy me too much working around them, i prefer to be at home and then socialise outside of that time- but i do understand if you are a people person the idea of being at home alone is not ideal
Happy medium of couple of days a week for me. I do like the fact I can meet people in person and get things discussed that don’t happen when everyones at home. However I get a lot of distractions at my job on the fly, which stops me getting things done that need to be done in peace. The deadlines are always the same, so that’s not changed, not like I can sit at home and ‘not do it’, just makes it easier to focus.
Webby & O'Neill... Forgive me because you're a bit like Ant & Dec... I never know which is which but you're almost 66? ... As we say in Ireland, "whatever you're drinking, keep drinking it my friend!" 🍀🍻 Great episode as always lads!
Ineos decision to have staff working from the Manchester and London offices is a no-brainer. Sancho's best is drawing attention to himself. He blows hot & cold & does not like being told when he is out of line or if he cannot do his own thing.
As an ex Exec, in office or not shouldnt matter if the management is properly performance managing people with objective and measurable job goals and targets. If you go total in office, you will undeniably loose talent you dont want to lose. I think the hybrid, 3 days in office, 2 out has proven most successful in attracting and retaining talent. You can also create and maintain the top type of culture you want. I think this is just to force some people to resign quickly and nothing else, which is Ineos choice as owner.
Have said this a few times, the Player has no say in what a club is willing to pay for him, if you have a good "agent" and a club are willing to pay what his parent club are asking, he only discusses the wages and contract length. Ajax wanted 85m for Anthony because Ten Hag said he wanted him, as he know him, like a few other players that were brought in. Armabat was brought in because he had 1 good challenged in the WC, but at least he was only brought in on loan.
Tony's, spot on again, Antony would struggle to get in Crystal Palace s team, united need old school wingers on both sides, which means rashford needs to go, Tony cottee was one of the youngest players to have a debut like Rooney, we need to have faith in our younger players in the academy, what's the point of having academy s if we don't blood the youth.... This is the only model for success, I watch you everyday, and Tony speaks common sense, where is webby still celebrating the cup win ?
WFH depends on your role…this ‘not allowing working from home’ is a sign of devious mindset - “we don’t trust you because we would be skiving if we worked from home”is what is really being said… The office staff do not influence the failures on the pitch

Amrabat is a proud player [always was], he wouldn’t stay only for the money, he want to make his Family/Land Proud at him as a Player and that can only when he is good. He make sometimes the wrong choices on the field and that’s what he must learn, to see and take the good choices but that is a question of Time [and if you want to give that to him].
Do ye not think nearly a week after winning the FA Cup, the "New" Team owner and his Backroom Staff, should have come out and confirmed it we are getting a New Manager or sticking with Ten Hag and letting him have 1 more season in charge with hopefully a fit squad, bit of laughing stock really.
I see work from home people everyday as part of my job. They all skive to a degree if there is opportunity - walk the dog , chat to the neighbour, trip to the shops, chat with me, longer lunch etc. Civil service performance, some of which i rely on, is currently very slow and poor. Our nations productivity is suffering.
Totally agree with Antony. Been saying for ages something feels wrong about him. He came out saying the allegations were false but shows signs of being an emotional angry person. Even if not true, just gives me bad vibes too.
Great video guys, i agree people should go to work however after COVID companies started to take staff on from further afield and took them on agreeing that working from home was allowed so the workforce could come from anywhere in the UK so asking them then to come into work is a break in their contract, just a thought guys.
I agree 💯 people are too quick to write players off nowadays,I personally think he’s shown glimpses of how good he can be.Like ETH I think he should be given more time 👍
Low lying fruit, cost cutting. Two owners living outside the UK saying WFH isn't acceptable. One case is staff aren't doing as they should and need to be weeded out. But, the other aspect is, there are "some" skilled high performing staff who have a flexible working pattern who will leave. Even with the offers some low performers will stay until they're bought out. That culture needs to change hopefully this is a positive start.
💯 % better for the club with productivity , unity , work ethic and the bludgers need to go ! SJR trimming the work force, inancial wastage must be phenomenal !! Back EtH ❤
There are rumors here in the Netherlands that Feyenoord wants to buy Hannibal, they look to other players to. Erikson is not the same as in the old days, but the question is , who wants him now, It’s difficult for M.U because all teams and clubs know that M.U has a problem, 1. Over expected cost monthly by players 2. M.U payed the last 10 years far to much for players so the can’t get now only 50% of the transfer cost. 3. M.U still have no money, they have to sell, and other clubs know that. They are in a circle of trouble and it needs hard work to get out, Hard Work and Trust from the Players, Fans and the Media. [i think that is only possible when the Club is Transparant to Everybody.
Seem to be..., that's a questionable statement in itself. It might save money having people working from home but it doesn't necessarily follow that it's more efficient. I personally think we up our game in social settings.
Garnacho plays better on the right so we don't need Olise. We need a left winger. Elias Achouri. A good defensive midfielder is Xaver Schlager and he's left footed so would compliment Mainoo. For left back we should go for Antonee Robinson of Fulham
If it’s true what we read about the staff situation he wants to get shut of 1000 employees. On an average wage of 30k pa what a saving that will be. No one likes change but change makes the difference!!!
Casemiro value around £30-35 to the Saudi league brand. Eriksen max 5-10 million but a deal can be done. Sancho Greenwood worth more than we feel. Donny- unfortunate with injuries but the player he was has long gone. Someone who will take his wages gets him.
It’s simple the staff who are targeted in this will have as Tony said contracts. This will be the original pre Covid contract, people were allowed to work from home but their place of work will be in the office. Unless an agreed change to the contract has been made the stance is concrete. The problem is people have moved house, sold cars(no transport) etc. They will have extra travelling expenses etc. This is not down to the employer. What must be understood is this won’t apply to everyone, there will be consultants, management and others whose contract enables them to have flexible workplaces. What I would say is the wording of the statement seems a bit unnecessary. The wording is from the `Brexit’ stable. There will be some employees savvy in work place practices law. I feel the main intention is to slash the wage bill and cut the number of staff without in some cases paying redundancy. Just watch the long term sick list gets bigger, nothing is easy in today’s world.
told you lads months ago Sir Jim means Business , and you countered that with , you thought he was a glory hunter , looks like he means business , can't wait to see what happens next with transfers etc ..
Humans are designed to interact, not sit at home, far more productive at work to, in my humble opinion. If I still owned my business no one would work from home
People can say what they want but it's human nature to slack off when you can get away with it 😂 I don't care about the BS studies or what ever data shows I know full well people being watched in an office would be more productive than somebody sat in their lounge
To have a good work place everyone needs to feel like there working as hard as the person next to him if my bosses all worked from home the job would be a shit show
Love the show fellas but O'Neil lad, you've got to realise that times have changed. It's always fascinating to hear the older generation say, us youngers need to be in the office. You can't fool us after the pandemic and there is an entire generation that is saying... If you don't offer at least 1/2 WFH days then we won't work at all! I think it's a good idea but in reality times have changed. No longer are people willing to give up their entire week, 5 days a week, to work from the employers office... Missing out on my child's key moments, to please my boss. I think SJR is going to lose some good people by forcing this through when it's not necessary. He should offer the hybrid option as a minimum.
There is nothing to change / in our staff, the physical managing and players like martial, varane, old Evans and ericksen, lindelof, maguire, Mount should leave ! We can't win something with these multiples injuries players ! We just can't !!!!!! Especially Mason Mount !!!!!!! He is spoiled, varane too !!!!! Injuries cost us every thing this year ! If we don't sell these garbage multiples injuries players, we're dead !!!! How many players arsenal and city got injured this year ? Probably two or 3!!!! But we had martial, Mount, malacia, Shaw, Lisandro, varane, Lisandro every time !!!!!!! Even hojlund !!!!!!!! We need solid and physical Monsters like Bruno and garnacho and amrabat !!!!!!! But i think, our physical management is Weird !!!!!!!! But i really don't like Mason Mount !
Guys the Casemiro deal is spread over 5 years for FFP, that means we still have £36M outstanding on his FFP bill, if we sell him for £20M it leaves us with -£16M on our FFP. Antony is even worse, £80M, that's £48M left for his last 3 years of his contract for FFP, how much could we get for him? £20M if we are lucky, that's another -£28M for FFP. We are in the mud financially with these crazy signings, never mind the wages these guys are on, we owe Casemiro £55M in wages, Antony is owed £30M in wages, only Saudi would pay those wages, if they don't get involved those two are going nowhere for 3 years.
Jim is pruning the hedge. I’m sure of the staff working from home probably only put n 40% of their job weekly. Jim is correct in bring nging them back to the office
hilarious how united fans act like the moral police when it comes to greenwood but no club in europe cares, sad indication of the culture in england, trial via social media and guilty no matter what. Sad.
typical old codger crying about people WFH. Imagine the glazers did this there would be an absolutel outroar but because it's good ol' local lad Jim it's okay
Lets do a sunday clean-out. out with the toxic players that doesnt want to follow the manager. out with the directors that doesnt do f*** all at their seats. I want to see a real transformation. But I wonder how long that will take. People that have wanted Ten Hag out...I dont know how they are thinking when you CLEARLY SEE that it is the players that doesnt put the effort in. We have good players. Rashford can seal a game all by himself...if he WANTS to do it. What is the problem? If we knew more about the talks in the dressingroom we would have had a clear picture.
More money needs investing in the youth system/scouting. Utd won't be able to compete for galacticos. City, Arsenal, Chelsea & Newcastle all have more cash to spend.
I hear u by but we always spent big now it’s about spending smart which in the long run will leave us capital to maximise in the youth and scouting dept.

Keep Sancho.Hes a good link player for Hojlund
Spot on, Tony. The press is an utter disgrace. I thought at one point Sancho had turned into Messi overnight!
I went to the Atletico Madrid vs Dormund game and Sancho was fantastic. His level is tg.e Champions league so I think we should maybe keep him.

Simon Jordan spelled out why they should'nt work from home TalkSport... I'm not his biggest fan, but he was very clear about it.
TalkSport is essentially reliant on the technology that facilitates remote working.
If you want a tidy house, you clear out the trash and keep on top of it.
Amen brother

Still buzzin about beating them galacticos on Saturday..seeing the blue noses hands on heads when garnacho scored was funny as fk 🔥🔥🔥

Yeah after I finished my shift.
I think Amrabat could be a good back up holding midfielder if they got another one ahead of him

Easy targets bottom rung administration etc. Let's see RATcliffe fire uncommitted first team players!!
We b
Need more than 5 players leaving our club.
Not if they are crocked. They only get half their salary. So drop a few quid here and there and knobbly them
Don't agree with forcing workers back to work in the office.
Jim is pruning the hedge. I’m sure of the staff working from home probably only put n 40% of their job weekly. Jim is correct in bring nging them back to the office
BONUS wtf , nobody has eat earned a bonus in ten years
hilarious how united fans act like the moral police when it comes to greenwood but no club in europe cares, sad indication of the culture in england, trial via social media and guilty no matter what. Sad.
typical old codger crying about people WFH. Imagine the glazers did this there would be an absolutel outroar but because it's good ol' local lad Jim it's okay
Fair enough. I'm 55. So I don't know what WFH people do. I work as a plumber, so my work is everywhere.
Not ruthless if he keeps the rotten foundation. If ten hag stay he is to soft
Greenwood to stay
More money needs investing in the youth system/scouting. Utd won't be able to compete for galacticos. City, Arsenal, Chelsea & Newcastle all have more cash to spend.
I hear u by but we always spent big now it’s about spending smart which in the long run will leave us capital to maximise in the youth and scouting dept.
Already done and the under 18s have been electric all season

Workers who work from home are equally committed to work.
Not the facts provided to SJR.
Any proof?
At the end of the day x20
And?
Goldbrige talks shite, but he never lifts his hands, like you Tony
But you've lifted yours to comment 🙃😉
Get them all back in the office ,then you can see all the lazy one's .
