People need to be patient. Missing chances isn't ideal, but making them is the key, cos I can think of loads of games where we created nothing in the last load of years. We're getting the bird in the taxi but falling asleep before we get her home at the moment, but at least we're getting her in the taxi. Matter of time til we score. Christ, under Van Gaal and old Jose, we just got the taxi on our own. And it drove sideways home. Agreed. Missing chances has been an issue going back to preseason. Apart from the Barnsley and Soton game when they had their mojo and shooting boots on. The patterns of play have improved and I can see us returning to one of the best defensive records this season despite not having a natural LB.

After his injury last season he was poor. However he look quality for a 21 yr old. He was the least passed to player last season too. He's shown some signs of being v good.

Does anyone think they've got stage fright? A lot of them look devoid of confidence e.g Bruno, Rashford, Dalot, Mainoo and Martinez. Something is wrong with the attitude of the players
It's a recurring theme of the last 10years, players lacking desire, ambition. Feels like something is terribly wrong behind the scenes at united. But we will never find out what it is. I don't mind players trying and failing but this is just inexcusable and nothing will ever change if they dont fix that, no matter who's managing. Rashford is a big example of that, half the time he looks like he cant be arsed that he's on the pitch, and we have him as our biggest earner. Find me one example of a player like that in City, pool or any other top team, you wont get anywhere near them when this circus keeps going, be it Cr7 or Sancho.
A scary fact is what we paid for Anthony, Sancho, Maguire and Casemiro adds up to just over half the amount Ferguson spent on transfers during his 26 years at United.

In order to improve, the failing players need to be dropped to the bench. Bruno has the Rashford syndrome - big contract, now feels he can’t be dropped. No goals in 12 games, poor finishing - and every pass or shot has to be Hollywood - outside of the foot, etc. just do it workmanlike, and put your foot through it! Defence is definitely improving but someone needs to have a word with Onana and Martinez. They are just holding up play. They don’t know how to play from the back. They even make Maguire look quick! If they can’t do it, they need to abandon it.

We can't compare Ten Hag's issues with Fergie's. Sport science is having it's say now and if you look at games every three days and the inquiries we had last season I can understand Ten Hag subbing defenders. I'm positive with the way we are progressing. Too early in the season to judge.

It's a recurring theme of the last 10years, players lacking desire, ambition. Feels like something is terribly wrong behind the scenes at united.
But we will never find out what it is. I don't mind players trying and failing but this is just inexcusable and nothing will ever change if they dont fix that, no matter who's managing.
Rashford is a big example of that, half the time he looks like he cant be arsed that he's on the pitch, and we have him as our biggest earner.
Find me one example of a player like that in City, pool or any other top team, you wont get anywhere near them when this circus keeps going, be it Cr7 or Sancho.

In order to improve, the failing players need to be dropped to the bench. Bruno has the Rashford syndrome - big contract, now feels he can’t be dropped. No goals in 12 games, poor finishing - and every pass or shot has to be Hollywood - outside of the foot, etc. just do it workmanlike, and put your foot through it! Defence is definitely improving but someone needs to have a word with Onana and Martinez. They are just holding up play. They don’t know how to play from the back. They even make Maguire look quick! If they can’t do it, they need to abandon it.
What do we do in training because our goal tally is totally unacceptable!! Keep ball doesn't win matches the way we are struggling in games is criminal and if players look disinterested then bench them to the reserves . Ole will not come back his style is not what the club wants at all. The club wants a high possession style like city arsenal and liverpool and ole can’t do that. As a side note it doesn’t really matter who manager is we will only improve as fast as we get out players who can’t play the style and get ones in who can. Unfortunately its that simple and will take that long.
