WOW!!! The Catch By Rudi, and Our Day in Glacier Bay!

- We were so excited to hear that there was a new restaurant on The Majestic Princess, and it had only opened weeks before our cruise: The Catch By Rudi. "Rudi" is Chef Rudi Sodamin, a "cruise culinary artist with more than four decades of experience on the world's best cruise lines."
The Catch is a new specialty restaurant ($39. per person at this time) that replaced Bistro Sur La Mer on this ship. It is devoted primarily to seafood, but does have some other options on the menu as well. We also posted the menus in the video. The desserts are also AMAZING!!!
We made reservations right away through the app at home when we heard about this, and we recommend doing so- the earlier, the better, as this place is popular! In this video, you will get to see our dining experience in this new venue and all of the wonderful food we got to try!
On this day, we also got to tour the breathtaking Glacier Bay. Words and pictures can not do it justice, but we try to give you a little taste in this video of what the experience was like. We literally did not want to leave the outside decks all day, as it was just amazing! Such beauty in God's creation!

new sub here. Great video guys!!! We are going on the majestic princess to Alaska in september, can't wait. Our first cruise ever!! Was looking for the catch by Rudi on the dine my way app. But it only shows the crown grill and Harmony for options. Is it availble on the app?
Hi there, and thanks for subscribing!!! I am excited for you... your first cruise in Alaska? Wow... you will have an awesome time! We had some issues finding dates for The Catch on the app as well. It may be filling up quickly. Try different times, and see if it shows up. We had to schedule a later time- 8:30 pm in order to schedule before we sailed. However, I did notice some open times in the app after we boarded! If you can't get a time in the app before you go, I would try right away when you board, or go directly to The Catch to see if they can get you a time. We really enjoyed this restaurant... I would definitely go there again.
@@weinkeworldadventures thanks for the reply. I've tried every time slot and day of our trip but doesnt even show The Catch is an option for specialty dining. I'll try like you said go there once we get on the boat
