NBA Greatest Duos: Michael Jordan (33/15/9) & Scottie Pippen (29/11/9) vs Lakers (1990)

Great game from the early stages of 90/91 regular season between Bulls and Lakers, two teams that eventually played in the 1991 NBA finals.
''Michael and Magic was a classic matchup'', said Bulls coach Phil Jackson. ''But so was Scottie and James Worthy.''
Pippen had 10 first-quarter points as the Bulls took a 36-33 lead.
''I just wanted to get myself going early after having a poor game in Detroit'', said Pippen. ''I wanted to come out and play like I know I can play.''
And Pippen did as he, like Jordan, missed a triple double by one assist, adding 11 rebounds and nine assists to his 28 points.
Michael finished the game with 33 points, 15 rebounds and 9 assists.
Bulls won the game 114:103.

that move at 5:53 is just a pleasure to watch. so much in just a split second. jump stop with a deceptive split legs stance, juke move to the right while spontaneously driving to the left and then smoothly spinning with a dribble back to the right, then adjusting his body in the mid air for a beautiful scoop. no one nowadays has this instinct to do anything remotely similar to this.
