What's profound for me is having studied a few of these individual lives (in a few cases for a year or so). Knowing all the paper stats and then to see them as 'real' people is enchanting. So many i'd like to chat with. 😊
Very enjoyable. Not a lot of literature exists about so many of these individuals, yet what was provided was very interesting. Thank you for sharing this spectacular video. Keep um rolling!❤❤❤
The high frilled neck out fits would drive me crazy. And an honourable mention to those very talented and patient people who made these opulent clothes
You'll notice you always see a plain white shirt or smock right up next to the skin, underneath all of the pretty fabrics. That was what they changed daily and washed after wearing as we do our clothing today. But just as if we have a wool coat for winter we don't clean it unless we spill on it, they didn't try to wash those silks and brocades, just air them out periodically.
The portrait of a courtier looks like one of my fellow peasants during my teenage years at the Minnesota Renaissance festival. His name was Ron Spiess. Nice to see you've come up in the world Ron!
I’m sorry but the Anne of Denmark is the electress of Saxony, not queen of England. You can tell it by looking at the style of the dress. The fashion in this portrait is way too early to be Anne of Denmark, queen of England. It’s confusing because these to great ladies had the same name.
What strikes me as an anthropologist, besides the beautiful (but not very comfortable clothes) is the way in which - when depth is added to the faces - you can see to which country they belong. It's striking
I learned while researching for a fantasy novel largely inspired by mid-16th century Europe that it really was a peak era of extravagance in fashion. Beautiful, though.
The clothes in the paintings don't seem almost funny, but seen in real life worn by real people they are more beautiful than modern ones. Now I fully understand why the famous nobles and people of the time wore them are of amazing elegance.
in the portrait of a courtier you changed the brooch depicting Mary with baby Jesus, with the inscription "Mater dei Memento" with a brooch that is not clear what it is and the inscription was scrambled..why?
Great work, but I believe the fifth portrait of the man wearing red and black with what you called white accents. Were actually muslin or linen portions of his smock that he wore under his elaborate outer clothing pulled through slits in the sleeves. You can see the white collar of his smock above the gold collar he wears and the smock on either side of the gold piece going from the gold collar down his front. You should for further work that you do get a book on Historical Costumes that explains in detail what was what that people wore. From the poorest to the riches and most noble and why they wore certain things.
The portrait of the first lady shows a very high hairline which wasn't natural but was the fashion. The AI has her with a more natural hairline. Can you imagine plucking out an inch of hair to be in style? She must have been at least as pretty as her portrait.
The pictures show Europeans in the Middle Ages with a beautiful view, but they do not reflect the reality at that time. Murray says in his book “Confessions of a Bourgeois”: The Europeans considered bathing to be blasphemy, and the envoy of Tsarist Russia described the King of France, Louis XIV, by saying: Its smell is dirtier than the smell of a wild animal. “..One of his maids named de Montesbam was soaking herself in a basin of perfume so that she would not smell the king’s scent
Lucas Granach the younger died in 1586 so he could’ve not paint a portrait of Anne, queen of England. King James, his husband, reigned England from 1601, when queen Elizabeth I died.
Amazing work bro, i love your work and I subscribed to your channel, but something wrong, I'm artist painter, I see in this video that all eyes are the same after rendering, ifocus on the real eyes, not just making them looks beautiful, maybe it will show a different result, more realistic, thanks.
Beautiful and Amazing ! Thank you for this video
Bravo, c'est tout simplement magnifique !

Can you do all of the greek philosophers?
Can you also do the Catholic saints and biblical figures?
Too many fictional characters among these.
They’re either fictional or if they did exist there aren’t reliable portrayals of them.
@@Mustang1683how many fictional canonized saints do you know about?

If we are making requests- how about the people in the Jack the Ripper murders including the victims, potential victims, police, suspects, and others.
These are beautiful & very well done...except for the nail polish & full makeup. It takes away from the historical reality. Just my humble opinion.

their faces look modern, because is different time and makeup. Of possible in midlage women wanted bright eyelashes or none.
