tldr If you are not using Jirachi in OU and you think hes a terrible pokemon then you yourself are terrible. The only REAL counter to this thing is Dugtrio arena trap and even then if you swap Dugtrio into a ice punch you will have a bad time.
Ah, the generation that it didn't really on hax as it does in the future. I imagine this is people's favorite jirachi gen as it shows off its power of coverage and unique moves like wish and doom desire instead of iron head and u-turn.
For a Mixed Jirachi with 32 Spe EVs to outrun Tyranitar or 56 to outrun Claydol, 136 Atk / 252 SpA leaves 88 or 64 EVs for bulk. Does it make sense to run a nature with neutral Def to take Earthquakes from them?

I know this is super old, but I can’t help but reply Jirachi is already crazy good, it so difficult to deal with even with high attack earthquakes. If it had levitate the only weakness it would have is fire. NOTHING would be able to beat Jirachi without overextending your mons!
In the future I think it would be awesome to continue this series with GSC and DPP

It can do everything except set up stealth rocks

This Pokemon really reminds me of Mesprit in ORAS NU. In both cases you can pretty much run anything on it and it works.

In DPP? Maybe. In ADV? No. You know what should be banned or changed in DPP though? Stealth Rock.

Could someone explain What ADV OU is? I did not find an explanation When googling and have never met the term when playing competitive at Showdown.
Edvin Ek It is the term used for Gen 3 OU, there were so many games in Gen 3 outside of RSE that it’s just called Advanced.
