I was definitely struggling to install the quick connect system until I found this video and read the comment about adding a lubricant to the connector bits. Annoyingly, the official Osprey instruction video had no helpful tips like that and COMMENTS WERE TURNED OFF! Anyway, thank you!!

What did you wipe on the fixed connector to help the hose slide on?

I slowed it down to 0.25 speed and was able to determine that he used a Hydrapack lubricant packet. The Hydrapack website lists some readily available alternatives: support.hydrapak.com/hc/en-us/articles/360002854233-Lubrication-for-your-Plug-N-Play-connect-system
