Asalamu aleikum warahmatuAllah wabarakatuh, It's a very insctructive lecture and tafseer, though there is something that I didn't fully understand. If someone could enlighten me I would be really grateful so here it goes: When Ustadh Nouman says that we will be questionned about our ''na'iim'', citing many things like a nap, food, shelter and so on, what does it mean? Does it mean that we will be asked about it regarding the way we used it? If so, for the example of wordly possessions he also says that we say Alhamdoulilah for things that may be a means for us to be tested, therefore we should say AstaghfirouAllah instead... I am a bit confused by these two points if someone could help me out, I would be very grateful! Wasalamu aleikum warahmatuAllah wabarakatuh.
Joy Dee waleikum asalam. Let's take eyesight for example. 1. "Alhamdulillah" (All praise is due to Allah) I can see with these eyes. 2. "Astaghfirulah" (I see forgiveness from Allah) for what I chose to see with these eyes. Same with money. Alhamdulillah for the money. Astaghfirulah for the bad/wasteful ways I spent this money. And so on and so forth. Allah swt knows best.
Alhamdulillah for such an awesome explaination.
Very helpful lecture to memorize surahs.
Jazakallah wa khair
SubhanAllah
Subhanallah! Jazakallah khair for sharing it .
Subhanaallah Allahuakbar
Mashallah
