Amazing video Drake! Wanted to ask, since you’re not using a servo lens on the camera, how do you adjust the zoom and focus from the handle on the tripod. Would love to know how to rig it up for a follow cam without using a servo lens but still making it for the cam ops to follow! Great video again Drake!
Excited!! Thanks so much of the vid! Middle things had a video about Pyxis and they had a usb dongle they recommended that would work for hdmi out. Have you tried that? What lenses would work with the bmd focus and zoom demands with the l-mount? Only canon powered zoom lenses with an ef adapter? Are there any powered l or pl mount zoom servo lenses? Or would the focus demand work for some less expensive lenses that have electronic focus control? Thanks again!
@DrakeKelch I can post some that work! You need to use cables and not adaptors, the pin out is different as these are a usb 4 signal. Try the UNI brand of cables. "Dongles" and adaptors use a chipset to convert the signal and won't work properly
@@RedShade_Studios would be curious what brand you are using. Everyone I’ve talked to that tried it only got it to work with a dongle. I only got it work on a dongle as well. All of the straight cables I tried have not worked.
I’ve had the BMPCC 4K for a long time, and the Pyxis would basically be my dream camera
Love the subtle background lighting
Great vid bro! Didn't expect the giveaway 🤞
Great video love the unexpected Giveaway, Thanks!

Same question here - I'd like to know what lens control system you uses here...!)
Great video! Appreciate the information
What lens is this? It looks awesome! Great video
Nice vid! One small constructive critique: the blue background light hitting the underside of your arms is slightly distracting.
@@EstudiosAlanRecords that’s funny! I kinda liked it.
I like it, proves everyone has their own opinions. ;)

As far as I know you’d need the EF mount camera and the Compact Servo 70-200mm or 18-80mm. I haven’t tested a powered adaptor on L mount.
@@DrakeKelchthanks
What lense is that?
👍👍👍👍
Cool ❤ help full video 👍
Does the giveaway include the lens?
It does not! On the link posted it explains it all. But it’s just the Pyxis and a EF to L and PL to L adaptor.
great video. the music however, made me wanna switch it off.
You don't need a dongle. There are usb c to hdmi cables
@@RedShade_StudiosI guess I refer to those as dongles too. But I tried several of those as well and it was never stable.
