Actually when the seeds grow too long, its because of either too much sinlight or too much nutrition in the soil. Seeds need moderate sunlight, not direct. And they need a special soil for seeds. When they grow a little bigger, you can place them in nutricious soil and sunlight! Also, it takes like 7 years for the pear tree to flower and bear fruits.

I took pip out of my pear it was already sprouting so just put it in compost and it has grown into a small plant.
If you turn the pot regularly, they won't bend toward the sun, they'll grow straight.
