I know Marcus, he ran track for my brother in high school. He was a good kid and very respectful then and even a better man now. I’m proud of his accomplishment. He also had his pro career scout short due to medical reason’s.

I think it's being highlighted because it is historic and it's time. BUT, in sports, as Coach Freeman said it's about what you do and achieve not what you look like. So unlike DEI, he and Coach Franklin EARNED it and that is awesome! Coach Freeman is an amazing person and coach.
