A lot of Singaporeans have not even visited the whole country even though we say Singapore is small and boring. Usually we go to work and back home almost everyday of the week, and travel outside of Singapore during holidays. Singapore does have a lot to offer we just don't look for it lol! Thanks to Ghib-san I can discover them too.

I ever work in service line at airport Japanese used to be cooperative when coming to queueing up, without need to be reminded. Politeness is a good image. I honestly think 925 Yishun where he was at has some of the best hawker stalls bunched up together, from the chicken rice, to the roast meat stall and the prawn mee stall. The laksa stall is fantastic as well and just a stones throw away down the lane.

love the 928 laksa since I was 4-5 years old. which have been almost close to twenty years. my favourite was the dessert stall next door, their almond beancurd ice was probably the best I ever had. ive tried so many dessert stall as majority would just use the canned longan syrup, its very comforting just had it few weeks ago and it still taste the same as ten years ago, especially great way to beat the weather. but the long queue at the laksa stall was always very long even on weekdays and strangely whenever I buy their services was rude, which led me to try the one at the coffeeshop, right next to the 925 chicken rice, which I find it nicer though especially the thick beehoon, literally slurp as its much more smoother.
Haha, in the end it's down to personal preference for food. I like my laksa soup more lemak too (much richer and thick). Due to the Covid19, couldn't go back home to JB, I have been exploring Singapore more too and appreciate this second home of mine more as well!
Agree with you! Your family are really hard to please! 928 lasak is my favourite among others lasak stall in Singapore! For my opinion, Mount Faber night view will be most nicer than Kent Ridge! You can even walk from Mount Faber to HENDERSON WAVES! It will be a perfect journey！
