To answer the question in your title, Final Four bound highly unlikely and also highly unlikely to keep up in the new B1G. Illinois will be lucky to see bowl eligibility any given season.
Yea, in the video we talked about some of the shortcomings that may hold them back. Ryan seemed to be more in the boat of Sweet 16 potential as opposed to a full final 4 run
@@Bigtenshow It's unlikely for anyone to actually make it, but usually this time of year we can definitely pick out a team or two that will be there. After Purdue's early upset last year, I wouldn't be surprised if they pulled a Virginia. UConn and Houston look complete, and Houston is vastly improved because of the bump in conference competition. Just too many teams towards the top that I like over Illinois. A favorable draw can work wonders, especially if the right upsets happen. I'm an Iowa fan, so my comments weren't meant to be dickish. I'd just like to see Iowa sneak into the tournament, which means they need an upset over Illinois next week and the schedule is favorable for that. Football, we will be lucky to be bowl eligible or get 7-8 wins a season now. Adding top end teams shift those down a bit more.
