Friday part 2, 6, and the 2009 reboot
It's criminal that we still don't have a Part 9 neca Jason. Legit my personal favorite Jason look of the Franchise
I have several figures that are considered dated by today's standards but they still give me more joy than almost all of the new stuff that's been coming out and it's not all sentimental, there's just something about them, like they have more "character"/are more artistic somehow.
The poster for this movie was awesome I liked how they included it with the figures in this line. It is odd that the weapons all look like they are from different sets. He is a great classic figure but I can't wait till Neca can make their version. The face sculpt is nasty goodness.I think Jasons mom dresses him due to the tucked in shirt... "Kill them Jason, but tuck that shirt in!" My old Hellraiser figures are out dated but I would never let them go even when they make the newer ones. just also got the out dated Pirates of the carribean due to no new ones from neca.Thanks as always.

I mentioned this in your Freddy video but I owned this Jason at one point when it first came out.
He quickly got jobbed out to my Jakks WWF Titantron Live Kane figure.
Edit: Holy crap. I owned this figure for many years and had NO CLUE you could take his mask off!!!!!
The figure strikes me more as being a hybrid of Jason Takes Manhattan and Jason Goes to Hell. The outfit has more of a Part 8 look with the shirt being tucked in the back and hanging out in front, the torn sleeves, and the gloves. I feel like one can theoretically customize this figure into a Jason Takes Manhattan figure if they wanted to since we have yet to have an official Part 8 Jason figure.
NB Cash I believe this and the Freddy figures were supposed to be concept figures from the concept of the Freddy vs Jason movie.
i put a neca final chapter jason mask on this figure in place of the ugly silver mask he comes with and it looks SO much better. it actually looks like part 8 jason.
This is a solid Jason Voorhees figure. It holds up quite well, despite being an older piece. It's not accurate to how he appears in Jason Goes to Hell and it's inspired instead, which is perfectly fine. Otherwise, thanks as always Spot!
My oldest figure is the McFarlane Rob Zombie from 2000, awesome stand.

Would NECA have the ability to do a "Tribute" version of this the way they've done tribute figure updates to Kenner and other vintage toy lines? A modern sculpt but with the same general design aesthetics.
McFarlane mentioned going back and doing another figure for each of his legendary lines if his spawn crowd fund project was successful(which it seems to be in a huge way, I know he got quite a bit of my money) and what I really want(since this is his plan instead of more spawn characters to make a complete set of the main original characters from the initial comics) is a highly articulated, well done Friday the 13th part 7 figure. It's not a particularly good movie but the design for Jason is a standout in the franchise imo and I've been patiently waiting for an ultimate version from neca long enough, they seem bent on just milking the buck from the final chapter release even though their part 3 body is the most "jason" to me including the paint apps and mask fit(to the point I've used several to redo for 4-6) At least they threw in some great masked headsculpts with the new beginning dream sequence figure release that works great for different movie representations. I ended up having to do a custom using the Freddy vs Jason release(modified) and some part 6 release masks.
The figure in design somehow looks better than how he appeared in the movie
I just wish they gave him a full chrome mask in the movie like advertised on the poster.

The greatest thing about this one is also the craziest thing about it: the fact that it's this super hybridized 'All-Jason'.
- The color scheme of his clothes is taken from Parts 3 and 4.
- The Mask design is a hybrid of Parts 6, 7, and JGTH.
- The damage to his clothes (and flesh if you dare any disassembly) is a hybridization of those of Part 7 and Part 8.
- The gloves are from Part 8.
- The harpoon is from Part 8.
- The axe is loosely taken from the poster art of Part 2, and could also possibly be a reference to Part 7 (the only time he ever used a single-head axe).
- His face (again, if you dare any disassembly) is from Part 2.
- The rest of his head is from JGTH.
- The only thing here not from any movie is this weird version of the machete, which now has a sword-like look to it.
The machete is kind of a nod of freddy vs jason.

I have quite a few outdated figures that i really like (in fact, most of em'). I have a lot of the Movie Maniacs 7" w/cards (most have been opened & put back in package w/card) my favorite is the Pumpkinhead figure ,it looks killer . But i really like em' all, or at least the ones i have. Psycho Norman Bates, Friday the 13th Jason goes to hell, Texas Chainsaw massacre Leatherface, Pumpkinhead, The Thing -Blair monster- Blair spiderhead, Halloween Micheal Myers, Edward Scissorhands, (large) King Kong, The Blair Witch, The Tooth Fairy. In my area i could'nt find the others that i wanted from that series . The only others i wanted were the Nightmare On Elm St. Freddy, Sleepy Hollow Headless Horseman w/horse, & Jaws boat scene. My collection still feels incomplete. Back then those were the coolest figures, and pretty cool now. Bob.G

I have this figure when it came with the Freddy / Jason 2 pack .
That's the same figure I have, but it didn't come with the poster art work. It's the only Jason I have, and I quite like it.
I have this figure and have always been confused why it looks like Jason takes Manhatten and not Jason Goes to Hell.
They really should revise this figure, with A more faithful ultimate version.

Why can’t Neca make Jason X or Jason Goes to Hell figures? They technically don’t have the title of Friday the 13th, so they could make figures of Jason from those films.
That's a very good point, never thought of that before, maybe some of it has to also do with using the name Jason Voorhees on the packaging or the likeness?
