I did my first few games of pvp ever recently, main rev in pve figured I’d give rev pvp a go. Ur commentary is really helping me understand what I’m ment to be doing. Binging all ur videos currently

I tried this build in 10 matches yesterday, with a small difference of not being able to equip a shield. Surprisingly I was the top DPS of my team in 8 of them. My first 10 matches ended up in a 50% win rate. I was 80% of the time on my short bow. Thank you for the guide!
@@homage3 Hey homage its me again, I am using this build with shortbow. I dont have the soto yet for weapon mastery. Do i need to change anything in this build for the shortbow or i am good to go?
Glad to see you dabbling with renegade! One thing to suggest- renegade is *awesome* for zerging in WvW. Coalescence on top of the ground targeted AoEs gives you a ton of stuff to fling in the general direction of the opposing zerg.
You've restored my faith that pvp is not totally broken! It used to be one of my favorite game modes before moving to wvw. I'm no build crafter, but I've thought core rev might have some potential with all of the new weapon options.
@@galbow6770 Awesome. There's a few outliers right now who have OP spears but all in all the game mode is doing fine IMO. There have been a few core Rev gods over the years. Shao Zapomni, Za Shaloc are both on YT from a few years back. Maybe I should try cooking something up
I learned a long time ago I’m just not good at any bursty assassin playstyle in any game, but love anything that gives support. So this and heal vindi may be the builds for me! Thank you again for the amazing commentary

Hey man, i've started playing like two weeks ago and your channel really got me into pvp, i've started with mesmer as my first class and was having a blast with the power mirage build, but now i'm going for some revenant action to switch things up a bit and learn other professions, your videos are always incredibly helpful, thanks a lot! Is condi herald not really a thing? I'll probably go for power herald, but would love to know if condi also works

Hey dude, just had an idea. I know you mentioned highlighting other GW2 channels but it’d be cool to see you highlight other players as well, like a teammate of the week and nemesis of the week type thing. Basically you present them then go over the play that you thought was really good and explain why it was good. Educational and encouraging all in one vid 😉

I like your approach of focusing on one class you enjoy and getting laser focused on it. We have many shotgun approach channels already. You make me want to play rev. There's no way of watching your videos and thinking you are not having a blast and not wanting to experience the same. Jobs defended the creation of desire, rather than simply selling solutions. And I mean it in the best way. Genuine desire, not a fabricated one. Maybe that's a path for success not many take? It does not mean you should not cover other classes. But we know, if we want in depth coverage of whatever you decided to focus on, we can find it here. TH-cam is an entertainment industry. And I wish you will be successful and rewarded for the entertainment you produce, in game and IRL.
I agree. Watching Homage makes me want to create a Rev but after watching so much gameplay it almost feel too hard to learn, might as well start playing Elementalist lol

@@homage3 So I’ve been playing this build for a bit with great success. I think the main reason is I don’t know when to leave on other revenant builds while this provides more survivability when I make dumb decisions, lol
Yes! Both were hammer 2. It actually fires 3 AOEs on the ground so it can hit multiple times. I think the 4k was on the mesmer and the 3k on the ranger
@@homage3 Got it. I though both went on the Mesmer. So if someone is close to you and runs away as the hammer 2 spreads out, they can be hit multiple times?

@@siqsa9607 The strongest version of Rev is hybrid with the spear right now. I actually made a guide video all about spear Rev.
