Our 21 full-size has been great. We had one issue in the last three years and the dealer resolved it. I love these vehicles, it’ll be hard for us not to upgrade to the new 24 body style.
Ben I love your energy and enthusiasm...having said that this is the 2nd car review I've watched of yours where you misrepresented the model year of the vehicle...I happen to be in the market for a 2024 with the upgraded engine...I click the link to the dealership you provided and this car you're showing is a Certified 2023...NOT good to lie to your viewers...you did it also on a 2021 GLS63 you misrepresented as a 2023
These do not come with 626hp. That is the L461 Range Rover Sport SV. The L460 Range Rover uses the same NC11 V8 (BMW S68) with two power outputs: 523hp for the P530 and 606hp for the SV P615. The 2024MY Range Rover and Range Rover Sport replaced the previous NC10 V8 (BMW N63) found in the 2023MY P530 models
Range rover definitely does not use the new s68 engine. It rather uses the m8 and m850i engine (s63) & (n63). The reason is that BMW wouldn’t give their newly developed engine to other automakers.+ if you know something about the S68 it doesn’t have such sound. I own 1
@@pumaboris3515 I work for JLR. I have done the training on the new NC11 engine( as well as the NC10). The NC11 is the S68. The NC11 has the 48v Electric motor inside of the transmission housing, just like the S68. The S63 does not have that. We have the 24MY L405 models in the shop every other day (PDI). BUY IT! BUY IT! I wanna know if the steering rack lasts more than 150 miles on this one. LMAO Ben I am not ragging on you. Know this. However, the fact that these vehicles are sooooo unreliable forces me to make comments. It's such a shame. Super nice vehicles, coming from a lineage of off road kings, and now, well it's a crap shoot if it'll work or not today........And for only $125K!!!! yay.....
So ture! I love so much about the look and feel..... but I just can't force myself to purchase one given the well documented history. It's truly a shame cause RR is by far my favorite vehicle to admire from afar.
Fun review, so when the L460 first came out you did a back to back Inline 6 with the v8 and at the time you said the Inline 6 was smoother and felt a little quicker off the line, but this is your second review more recently where you seem to favor the v8 over the inline 6. Would you please elaborate on what changed your mind?
The Range Rover Sport SV has more horsepower than the Range Rover SV P615. The L460 SV makes 606hp. The L461 SV makes 626hp. The upcoming Defender SVX will make around the same if not a little less than the L461 SV
@jjpark1989 yeah those outputs on that BMW V8 is genuibly concerning. 0 faith. They shouldnt have ditched the AJs. Weird engines at the end of their life cycle but still.
