Another 70 year old. Sina should know us septuagenarians appreciate a great drummer and Sina is a great drummer. I could listen to her play those drums better than the original drummer for the song. Try to write or make your own drum solo songs with some instrumentation in the background or just you. I'm surprised some up-and-coming group doesn't sweep you up to add a great drummer for their up-and-coming band.

I almost hate to admit that I'm this old, but when this song came out in 1968 it affected my life. I was 16 and bought my first big bore bike and took off to see what the hell was out there that I could experience without the confines of my family, who were surprisingly supportive of my endeavors.

This is like an exercise workout for Sina, she put so much energy in to playing. You can see her leg muscles flexing all thru this. We can tell she loves this high level of energy and we love it to. She could tie her hair back but part of the entertainment is to see the hair flying, adds to the production and how she tries to manage it. Well done on this classic

The first time I heard this on my favorite AM radio station, KFRC from SF, I thought it was magic! The local garage bands quickly started to play it and the rest is music history…I got to see them live in Las Vegas many years ago and it was still so cool…
Of all the Sina covers, this may be my favorite. Just pure perfection on a classic song. It's not her hardest but it may be her best.

Jetzt bin ich 75 Jahre und muss sagen, seit den 80er-Jahren hat es keinen so guten Drummer mehr gegeben! Und wenn man schaut wie jung das Sina ist, so ist es um so erstaunlicher, dass ein so junges Girl diese Musik so gut auf dem Schlagzeug begleiten kann!

Von nichts kommt allerdings auch nichts.
Sina Döring (25) besuchte 6 Jahre erfolgreich eine Drummschule in Krefeld (NRW) , danach studierte sie 2 Jahre Musik (Pop, Rock und Jazz) in Arnhem in den Niederlanden. Parallel dazu tourte sie mit ROCK THE OPERA quer durch Europa.
Und jetzt macht jetzt ihren Master in London !

When I was listening to this song back in the 60s I never imagined I'd ever be listening to it covered by a beautiful young lady who I consider to be one of the best drummers of all time, because it seems there's nothing you can't play. Simply marvelous.

As a teenager, the first time I heard this song was in the movie Easy Rider. It was the coolest song I had ever heard. For several years it was my all time favorite song, that is, until I heard “Won’t Get Fooled Again.” Now our wonderful Sina has covered both. Steppenwolf so belongs in the R&R HOF. They were a huge band in the 60s, as was Grand Funk Railroad and CCR. CCR is in the HOF and the other two should be.
LISTENING TO THIS SONG AND DRIVING 220 KM ON THE HAYWAY IS A BLOODY MARVELOUS FEELING. THANKS.

Just a few things to say.
I'm not a drummer. But if it weren't for Sina, I wouldn't even know this classic track had 16th notes (?) on the kick-drum, leading to the chorus.
She does so much with such a simple kit.
Really captures the energy of this track.

Jerry Edmonton played drums with Steppenwolf when they recorded “Born To Be Wild.” He’s smiling down from heaven. I was only ten years old when that song got some serious broadcast time on the radio. Still heard today. Sina nailed it all the way through. Top notch!

This I believe is one of your best renditions along with In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida, and that's hard to say, because I think all your drumming and music are top notch and you do an excellent and amazing job drumming for the oldies and others and I really wish you a long career and use of your talent for other uses beyond You Tube and you are set with You Tube at the present time. You and your family and people already know what I'm saying, and you probably are already branched out. I'm a 71-year-old fan of yours and in my life, I've heard and seen a lot of drummers, and you're with the top ones for your age and older. Your talent, personality and beauty go a long way also. @@alanhughes5868 Hello also AlanH71. Sina is a great drummer and you can watch her progress from one of her videos when she was 14 to now. In-a-gada-da-vida was a song I use to listen to over and over to hear the different effects and instrument sounds and especially the Drummer. Sina I believe does just as good a job maybe even better than the drummer, (I forget his name) in the group and song and I'm talking about a drummer listened to by hundreds of millions and Sina does just as good to be enjoyed by Millions. Keep going Sina.

The original drummer of this iconic song was Jerry Edmonton. . .whose brother "Mars Bonfire" actually wrote Born to the Wild. While this young woman does a very credible job here, she's no where near the brilliance Jerry brought behind the riser. The man had incredible chops. He kept perfect time but it was his fills that stood out. He played to the song . I'm that old and Steppenwolf's music still means a lot to me. Sadly Jerry left the world far too soon.
