But is there any way to just make your basss sound like this live? I just don't really care about all the producer stuff I just like playing bass. But.... I can never make my bass sound like they do on these computers in daws
Closest you'll get is bi-amping, have one channel as 'clean', focused on your low end, making sure it sounds fat and meaty, and the other channel as your gain, which is gritty and nasty, and make sure you cut the lows out of the gain channel. That'll get you in the ballpark. Something like a HX Stomp will work since it allows parallel processing.
Thanks for watching, y’all! My guitar tone tutorial for this track is available right now for my TH-cam/Patreon member homies! Vocals next week!
Good stuff man, you've always been a hell of a mixer and musician in general. Nice work!
The bmrm.brmm.and the blrghblrgh really helps!!!
YEEAAHH
I think that tone caused internal bleeding... I mean, I love it, but I'm fairly certain I need to go to the hospital now
"a spike in the HOOMMMM"

Dude, try Bass Professor MK II on the master bass bus - it's awesome to shape the tone!
Dude nice format, though too bad it wasn't the guitar one here and the bass on the Patreon !! still good vid :)
At the risk of losing points for shilling, you can go see the guitar one for 1 dollar! Haha. Thanks for watching!
