Hello Enchanted Ones, and welcome back! You may already know, but I LOVE embracing my inner child, and I wanted to share this little forest witch morning routine with you to share how I make the most of embracing mine. Life is so tough sometimes, but setting aside time to embrace what our inner child is calling to do, and I feel it is my duty to share that with you all!! It can really help our soul so much. I really hate the idea of Adulthood is mundane, when it can be anything we want it to be!

The quote from the book and you saying "people might laught at me but I'm living my best life" made me tear up a bit. I'm also slowly working towards finding the wonder I saw as a child and this made me hopeful and feel a fullness in my heart(probably my inner child giving a little dance).

Oh, I really needed this video today. Thank you, Alwyn. I just finished The Secret Garden, and when you said if we ever felt we have lost our keys... it reminded me of Mary finding the key to the Secret Garden, where she and Colin found themselves and were finally able to start growing--as healthy children, but also growing as better human beings. :-) We are so "busy" in the adult world, we sometimes forget real living begins when we take time away from it all and use the quiet to be true to ourselves.

Awakening to the truth about Mother Nature has saved my soul. It's all there 🙏 For me, that connection started with focusing all my love and energy on one species, be it a tree or bird ... And from there the door opened to feel that connection with all the living species.
It's all too easy to talk to a tree, but to actually hear the tree talk to you in return ...That is pure joy of the highest nature 💖🙏🕊️

I don't question anything, it's not videos with crazy amounts of information.. They're a calming break with beautiful narration. You've inspired me to find the uniqueness in my own practice. Frolicking in the woods sounds absolutely lovely. What a beautiful video Alwyn. I start my day by watering my 🪴, lighting my Cerridwen incense and some candles. When I go out, I always say hello to my favorite 🌲 tree in my building’s property 🥰
My mother who passed. She loved to go to counseling. And during which she embraced her inner child.

I'd rather live in my own magical dreamy world any day rather than the boring life we feel we have to live because its expected of us as an adult. I’ve binge watched quite a few of your lovely videos, I’m been having a hard time trying to figure out who I am verses who society tell me to be and I feel your channel is perfect for tempting out our inner child and magic within ourselves, thankyou for being you ♥️
For some reason this is making me so incredibly emotional. I think this is what my spirit craves for healing and well being.. i live on my in-laws property on about 4 acres. For 2 years we had a small patch of woods in our back yard with trails i made from clearing thorns and vines. Huge white tailed deer families (10+ deer) would spend time there crossing through our yard to get to the woods.
I would wonder in there for hours. I picked the berries and watercress, looked for any secret treasures I could find. Once I found dead mans fingers fungi. I was thrilled. There was a little cave made out of branches and vines...a bear could have slept in there. Thats what I always pictured. My spirit animal. I always wanted to crawl in and sleep but there were too many thorns.
One day my father in law came over and said he was clearing out the woods. Why? I asked. He said because the vines are taking over the trees. I do understand that and would hate to lose a tree. But he burned it all to the ground. He burned it all but the big stand alone trees. I cried for days and days, maybe weeks. I haven't been out there to visit since it burned. I don't see the deer as much.. one or two every now and again. They like to spend time with the chickens. Sometimes groundhogs, deer, and our chickens will be socializing all at once and it is quite a sight..
I suppose this has inspired me to go out once again to meet with my trees and greet the new greenery. Of course now it is fall and almost snowing here in Pennsylvania but in the meantime I will work on being able to visit regularly again by spring. I need to make peace with it. Thank you 💚

Lovely video as always, I laughed so hard at how you draw the perfect card every time because I feel the exact same way when I draw runes in the morning haha! I also hear the trees speaking to me and have found some very profound life advice from my favorite tree prophets when I needed them most 🌲

I have recently re connected with my inner child and we are establishing a beautiful relationship. I had to promise to protect her and allow her to speak up when she feels threatened. It took some time but whenever I play in the woods its great to have her around. Keep putting out your message it is needed.

I'm amused how similar our morning routines are! X3 The major exception for me though is I don't have a home with a yard at the moment, so I don't often take my tea outside. But it is my dream to eventually have a lovely yard with a tree to sit under.
