I'm late to the game hearing this family's story, but I hope it gets the attention it deserves. After leaving mormonism, I have experienced greater love and less of a propensity to judge others, and myself, after leaving. I can hear the same thing from this family. They exude love and empathy.
I so love, appreciate, honor and respect how many times this family consistently brings everything back to the sacred place of Love. This for me is so very important. This for me is the answer for so many things from relationships, family all the way to world issues. This is our true individual place of power at its fullest. I also want to express my thanks+ for Lisa speaking about how she is able explore new [laces inside her mind freely without questioning herself of what would the church think. This is so important to me as I have recently become aware that my family has left the doctrine however they have not changed the way of programmed thinking if you will. I haven't heard anyone talk about this. This has given me understanding of our families now dysfunctional dynamics. Again I am left in a state of gratitude hoping more will become aware of this important element as I would love to hear for my own recent awareness and education of what feels like a new territory. Extremely Powerful.Thank You so much for this beautiful story about unconditional love in action! Love to you all. So grateful+ for your story.
Definitely one of my favorite MoSto episodes (all three included). Very grateful to count these wonderful people as my friends. Thank you for sharing the story of your journey!
I am blown away by this story and how very much it resembles my own!!!!!!!!! I would love to have a social connect and outside support. My journey of nearly 6 years since leaving the church has been a lonely struggle.
So much love to his wonderful family. These parents love these kids and seeing them be true to themselves and just support their children is heartwarming. Great job!
All I can say is WOW! What a wonderful story! This has really moved me! I wish you all the best in life! Thank you for sharing! This has made a tremendous impact on my life!
Fawn McKay Brodie described leaving the Church as "taking off a warm coat on a hot day" but for many it is a long painful process. I thought for some time that was such a waste of energy and tears, now I see it as an essential process to bring good people out of the hamster wheel of Mormonism and in to the world of real problems and concerns, where we can make a positive contribution
Another incredible and insightful video, well-made, where you find yourself cheering for this family along the way :D ... Just one thing - Hacking, last name ... I think of Mark Hacking, who killed his wife, Lori - so - related to the father's side of the family ??? Mark, btw, was sent home early from his mission. Just curious .....
I was L.D.S. From 1970-1990. I never heard the term “Orthodox Mormon.” There is is nothing orthodox about Mormonism. Orthodoxy is always referred to with Judaism an Eastern Orthodox religions.
I am watching ,Dec., 2022. Follow up would be amazing on some of these stories.
I was, of course, not allowed to attend my son’s wedding inside the SLC Temple. He had a ring ceremony outside in the garden...it was beautiful.

Thumbs up for "second Saturdays". I laugh at myself when I realize all the TWO-day weekends I missed for the first half century of my life.
This episode has been so beneficial for me. Thank you so much for sharing your journey.
Thank you John for providing these podcasts.

Looks like a great episode John!
I pray to The Real God of the bible that he opens your eyes ,that you may know how much he loves you and yr family
Lucy Prusak: I don't understand your prayer. Whose eyes. Not this family. Their eyes are wide open and full of love. 🤔 😍 😇
First names are revealed in this episode as well
All episodes. Good on John for holding his tongue through all that, not revealing names himself.
Sorry John, you've only posted Pt 3, not 1 or 2
