Acids and bases react with each other in what is called a neutralization reaction. The reaction produces salt and water and leaves the solution closer to a neutral pH than before. ✅To access all videos related to Acid and Bases and Salts, enroll in our full course now: infinitylearn.com/cbse-fullcourse?TH-cam&DME&RmnT9jwX4gQ To watch more Chemistry videos, click here: bit.ly/Chemistry_DMYT

1. Acid + alkali when mixed together, will release salt + water. 2. It is called a neutralisation reaction, because the strength of both acids are lowered. 3. They are brought to a neutral level where the intensity of the acid and base are lowered. 4. The best example to study a neutralisation reaction is the formation of sodium chloride, or salt. 5. If we take hydrochloric acid and combine it with sodium hydroxide, then the neutralization reaction gives us sodium chloride

the salt will mix with the water
Will it form carbon dioxide also
When vinegar which is an acid and baking soda which is an alkaline mix they blow up. They don't make salt.
The salt is produced the minut
False. There is no 'blow up', blow up leads to flames/fire and there is CO2 gas produced here and its not flammable.
