Great video Mark... Very interesting to see them cramming 2 significant meals into a 6 hour flight - you always feel short changed if you buy an expensive business class ticket and just get an omelette! I've flown into Doha from Dublin, Prague and Abu Dhabi in recent years and had to go through security each time - perhaps they trust Heathrow's security more than anyone elses??? And I tend not to fly ex-UK on long haul flights as I'm allergic to paying the Air Passenger Duty. Even if I sometimes end up paying more by positioning overnight to Dublin or Prague before a trip....
Matt - Thanks v much for your very generous comments. I enjoy making videos for fun and thanks for considering my video despite the glitches! I agree re QR food. In addition there is a further selection of snacks to a greater extent than - say - BA.
I can’t explain the security on arrival although we had security at the gate before boarding.
We used this terminal with Qatar in October was a great experience. Is the check in self serve now??
