Even back in the 80s when I was on Okinawa at Futenma, I thought the Japanese models there were really cool. I bought a nice, white four seater Fairlady Z while I was there and loved that car. From what I remember, I wanted to ship the car back with me but due to US safety requirements it would have cost me a lot to do the safety requirements for it. Ended up giving it to a good friend when I left the rock. In your video, I think I like the Lexus best. Sporty and comfortable.....I like the latter more now because I am getting to be an old fart.

That Mitsubishi GTO SR is a AWD NA model. Just to clarify, Japan never got the FWD model like the states (that would be the SL and later the base model) but it is the same 222hp DOHC 6G72 engine. Also, the GTO Twin Turbo (full Japanese name) never came with VR4 badging, or 3000GT badging.

That S2000 is an Ap1. The "SR" in the GTO means it is an NA model, I think. GTS-t is an R32 version. The ER34 equivalent to the GTS-t would be the 25GT-Turbo (which has a RB25DET). But as you showed later, that is a GT-X, which is simply a GT (NA engine) with a few more luxury equipment (like the tinted windows). And answering your question, the AWD models have a "4" on them. GT-4 for the R34, GTS-4 for the R32, and honestly cannot remember the R33... Holy crap, and the "not appealing wheels" on the R31 look like they're TommyKaira, that's super rare. EDIT: I didn't mean to sound mean or anything, I love that you're showing these dealerships in Japan (and other things, in other videos), and had a lot of fun watching them.

I found a Evo 7 8 9 radiator locally for $70 new which is a steal and fabbed it up to fit in my car. So technically I now have an Evo 4 with 5 6 7 parts in it ha. Car was down for a day but I got it up and running and she's back on the road running good.
