Syndicats can go crit and still choose when they want to explode. You’ve got a small enough window to see who’s around you and still explode when someone you want is over you. That syndicat knew exactly what he was doing lol
The rest of them are victims of shitsec. I wouldn't use that word but I've been on the receiving end of way-too-eager cadets. They shouldn't be allowed lethal guns.
There was a centralized treatment area, actually! Greg and Iris were running a hospital in the tools room below the middle hallway. Iris was doing the healing, Greg was scavenging supplies and helping with patients, and Quiet Fables the CMO was making chems in medbay. Little treatment occured in the actual bay. Eventually i had to tell Iris to fall back because the Deathsquad was looming too close. I then embarassingly died in chemistry due to slipping on my own cleanade foam. Fun fact, i had actually made a deal with the revenant. I let it drain the rotten corpses in exchange for allegedly helping us. At least Iris made it out.
I remember all the stories happening during this round. Bishbabe heroically crying out against NT for their mistreatment of the Vox, Sunday Masse having her hatred for NT refueled by their cruelty, Sarah Blackwitch (The Nukie with the white/black wings) becoming the new commander once theirs died, The sneaky push into sci to get the parts for the svallin Realizing we had lost on the shuttle and praying to whatever we believed in This was an incredible round.
Given that a Sec pistol can kill a ninja if you can aim, a Death Squad Pulse Rifle would obliterate them. It'd be over for the Ninja if he tried to fight them lol.
I had a blast healing everyone who came into my little triage room, I did run out of burn meds pretty quickly. Rip to all those who couldn't get a suit in time, the rebuffed spacing damage killed a good couple. All in all a really fun event. It was cool to see all the fighting the heroic crew and nukies did and even the deathsquad. And that ending, what an escape! Just beautiful. (Extra note: the chaplain shuttle found the nukie shuttle and all the remaining survivors went to the nukie planet for some much needed R&R)

the meta strat would be doing this, and also acquiring meth, lexorin, and hypodarts. One hypodart full of lexorin will crit a death squad from full health, so you can just send a meth'd up assassin squad with darts.
@@Siffa_ Not sure if they have injection protection. But it seems like there were updates prohibiting this (with death nettle). Possible only for the Nuka squad. Otherwise, a squad of assistants with bows could inject 2 units of poison each. And I’m not sure if this can be considered meta. (considering that the crew constantly builds glass barricades against the nukes) Everyone here understands that this is a heavily armored death squad. Accordingly, you can understand which weapon is suitable. And energy shields protect well from everything, although they are a complete counter to lasers. The problem is more in PG. An assistant killing a member of an elite death squad doesn't sound very good.

For the most part that shift I was either dead or just trying to make more weapons and throwing them out to anyone to use. In the end the Syndicates drag me back to their ship and along with the everyone else, including the Captain, they manage to recover we return to the Nukies starting planet.
30:38 in 13, the saboteur borg is a more stealthy option as far as syndie borgs go, it can disguise itself as an engineer borg and has a similar toolset, plus a few syndie items (off the top of my head, pinpointer and emag) i don’t think the disguise mechanic is properly implemented in 14, but they’re fully functional otherwise
Funnily enough, that long shuttle stuck to the cargo shuttle was a Nun/Chaplain's shuttle! I wanted to see what I could do and if I could help as a chaplain, but the station was too uninhabitable and I ended up dying while trying to make my way to the crew. In the afterlife though, that Lizard Nun is singing the survivors praises! Glory to the space spaghetti!
Wow, That was uh.. crazy. To be honest, Considering all the bullets, lasers and otherwise large scaled bombs. Crew vs nuclear operatives no longer seem so impossible to fight against. Makes me wonder if Death Squad is truly the villain of our story.. Peak ss14.
I feel like that is why they didn't do exactly that. The round would have been a lot less interesting if the crew simply went for the cheesy method instead of having a fair fight.
And this folks, is how the Syndicate recruits it's members. Survivors of death squad purges, seen first hand. Well done NT, you've given more ammo to your mortal enemies.
It would have been super cheap and rage worthy, but they could have just given an EMP implant to the energy shield using jug, had him run in, EMP all their pulse rifles, and stun baton & cuff them. Extra powerful if he got combat stims too, so he could run mega fast.
