- Really really frustrating day in the PNW. Some out of my control, and some in my control. Bottom line is, I need to be better. We'll take some time off to rest and reset and come back even stronger. See you guys at Unadilla!

Amazing how the Lord uses us for His purpose, and many times we don't even realize God's goodness. Knowing how to rest and refill (including Dr. Axe type nutrients) and running the race put before us, as if to win the prize - no matter how significant, or seemingly insignificant. They will know you by your fruit. And that goes a lot further then I think we can possibly understand right now.

I hope you are enjoying the time off Shane. Everyone needs a break at times.
The kickstart is such a negative in 2024. Too often you will lose too many places because of a simple stall. (Still a good value, solid bike for vet riders and such)
Unfortunately looking at Suzuki's most recent financials and business structure/plans, MX and dirt bikes are low in priority. They are mainly focused on India and China now. They made globally only $71 million in 2021, and $219 million USD profit in 2022.
They most probably have had an engine with elective start at the factory, all tested and ready for production but the costs of putting a new model together seem to be to prohibitive for just one model/make which is low in sales compared to their top selling bikes globally. Sad, but true.

Stiffn the rear lower it all the way down if need be will buck ya less if lower rear liwer front the same and i feel ya on the kick start shit i kove my rmz450 and the orice of one compared but need a starter button and would sell like hot cakes

Not going to sugar coat it.......sounds like they want you to find a new ride somewhere else.......how can Kennys bike be so awesome but yours isnt? ......remember what Honda did to Kenny, he could never find the right settings, but the Lawrence brothers did? .......Hope it works out for you and you find that right ride that has a push button......ill be a fan wherever you go

Imo shane you need to learn to adapt to a off setting.you lack intensity.when you list the 250 champion you just have not been the same.
the bike actually looks old the way it rides.....it needs a new design......you are taking it to its limits and its not enough for you

@@Joe-pb3lx shane is the top Suzuki guy during out doors. They will do anything to get shane some top tens. These guys are searching for the absolute perfect set up. That probably doesn't exist and then do not push. I understand it not wanting to get hurt but sometimes you need to put 100 percent into it. Some of the top ten guys get off the track and they are spent. Then the rest of the factory guys look like they can go another moto. There beat by the time the gate drops mentally.
@@denniswilder3014 ......he complained the bikes rear hops when it hits a square edge......i would think that is an easy fix with shock spring and/or valving.......maybe they need a new suspension guy.......but they seem to have gotten kennys bike right
@@Joe-pb3lx they all hop when hitting breaking bumbs. I get it comfort makes you faster. But most of the time everyone is uncomfortable and they push through it. They all are just as fast as each other. Just some push through it or adapt to it.
Shane shouldnt of burnt every bridge with all the good manufactures , now he rides a heavy ,low power , kick start bike .
If that was remotely true kenny wouldn't be on it number one and 2 he wouldn't be doing as good as kenny is. Shane was on some good teams and ever sense his second in supercross he just hasn't been the same.
