This is the cutscene I expected to see when I started the FeMU story. You could've fooled me into thinking this was in-game. Great animation, editing, all of it. Keep up the great work!

I used to think about searching for someone to hire to do something like this a long time ago, but didn't know where to look, who'd qualify, or how much it'd cost, so I gave up on the idea. Can't believe someone actually decided to do this and that it took this long for me to find out about it. If the project would've been dropped due to the lack of attention, I would've been upset. I'd like to support however I can to help keep the motivation up. Thanks for sharing the money with the creator, next one will be for you :)

I love how they kept it more accurate to how FEMC’s pose is when she shoots herself. However, I wish they didn’t have her expression the same as the MC since she is supposed to have a different personality than his. It just doesn’t fit as well imo Still really good! Fits the style well!
I feel like this is not really true, femc has a different personality yes, but at the end of the day she is still female makoto, it's in her essence, not to mention every persona protagonist in the modern trilogy does a similar expression
When i played P3P with the Female Character i always felt she was more cheerful and happy than the Male Protagonist, so i like to think that both characters have different pespective about the things around them. The Male Protagonist feels sad and a bit lost, he doesn't feel that life have a true meaning in the beginning, so using a Persona was easier for him because he didn't care if he lived or die. The Female Protagonist feels happy and enjoy living even with sadness in her heart, the way she embrace life and trully wants to live makes her using her Persona without fear. And of course, this is just a little head canon of my that i like to think that way.
My interpretation has always been that the two protagonists are both suffering from depression, but it manifests in different ways. The boy is withdrawn and tries not to let things affect him, while the girl puts on a brave face and gives her all to make others happy, but both of them still ultimately have the deep-seated trauma of ten years ago at their core (hence, Thanatos), and both come to terms with it through reaching out to others.
Okay, this is one of the best pieces of animation I've ever seen in my life! So clean, and nicely colored. Why wasn't this in the remaster of the game? 😭
I watched the original cutscene for comparison, and this looks amazing It looks just like the original cutscene and the quality looks crisp since the whole scene was redrawn Which, by the way, is crazy Overall, it's a very nice variation of the cutscene!
Yeah, her eyes have always been brown leaning towards red. If you've not seen the Q2 cutscenes, her eyes glowing in one scene there almost makes her look like a Terminator.

All that needs to be done really to make it fully fit in is to re ai upscale the image to make have that blurry feel because right now it is just too sharp compared to the characters and the rest of the background, but looks amazing

The fact it could have at least had anime cutscenes (slightly modifying the game to make it all perfectly fit for them again)... what a shame! But impressive professional work from this fan!! now we just wait for the femc ps2 mod issues to be found out and fixed then get these cutscenes in there (like the creators of both these mods are teasing that theyre gonna collab) then we have the ultimate p3 version until the remake comes out (if that remake is gonna have femc in it)

I remember when I first saw this back in the day this gave solid kamen rider vibes somehow I still dunno why. One thing I still think they should make is outfits based on their first personas like Orpheus / Thanatos / Izanagi [for p4] costumes or do those exist now?
It's still baffling thst we still don't have a definitive version of Persona 3 yet (i want to play it but the Portable version turns me off, i prefer the FES version but ATLUS didn't bloody port it, just give us a definitive version, it's the easiest buy i'll ever make)

My only worry is how they’ll do it since cuz each version of P3 has its pros and cons and while a definitive remaster version where they include all the pros would be spectacular, there’s no way to know if they’ll do it right/include all the pros correctly/exclude all the cons, etc. At least we know that they’re willing to make changes based off of the anime and manga adaptations, FEMC route, and the fact they’ve included manga and anime content in P5/P5R
@@Hummingb1rd confirmed how? If you mean the default names in Portable, I wouldn't think that as confirmed, but just as... well, defaukt names. Minato and Minako are as valid names for the protags as Makoto and Kotone
When a modder put in more effectively than the official video game company shows you how lazy Atlus is with the Persona 3 remake Atlus is being lazy with the Persona 3 remake and no one going to convince me otherwise
The cutscene is still being finished, Neptune is done with replacing Makoto with Kotone completely, but Still needs to finish all the shots with Female Orpheus

I always forget it's FeMC for Persona. So used to many runs of Fire Emblem Awakening. And yeah @ghxzt2498 fully animated is what I meant.

So this is what we missed in the portable version. That’s quite impressive to implement FEMC into the cutscene.
The only thing missing here is changing Orpheus in the part where Thanatos burts out of him
But other than that sheesh this is really well animated
Still a WIP, but it's going to be done soon!
Honestly that would probably be the hardest change here by far, it's a much more intricate animation. I wouldn't even blame them if they left it be.

The ONE flaw with this is that when Thanatos flickers back to Orpheus, it's Makoto's Orpheus and not Kotone's.

Some people are just used to calling her Minako, I’ve been calling her that for years and I can’t get used to calling her Kotone
I personally refused to use Kotone for the femc or Makoto Yuki for the male Mc names. It just doesn't feel right for me.

Yes, I love it! The effort in Makoto's awakening compared to Kotone almkst makes me ashamed to play as Kotone.
