Yeah it's fuselage is bit longer. The manoeuvre will be slower but it can go further.

Much prettier than then F22 and F35, plus the redundancy capability of 2 engines is always a plus. Looks extremely capable in the hands of a good pilot.

@@jaybee9269 Stealth fighters are the future. Non-stealth fighters are not good enough. The Singapore AF will retire its F-16s starting 2030, replacing it with F-35. Japan plans to replace its F-2 (F-16J) starting in 2035 with a new stealth fighter (prototype being built in UK under JV). If you are not flying the F-22 & F-35, will you be hit first?

I like it and I think the Engine sounds damn good. Way better than the Flop35 which is now reaching a new low in its own country of manufacture. Still, not much was given away by this video and any others are only supposition. It does seem to fly nice and execute manoeuvres pretty smoothly.

The underside of F-35 probably has very poor stealth. Every stealth aircraft has smooth underside including latest B-21 except F-35. This was caused by putting in the weapon bays missing from X-35. Cannot understand why Lockheed cannot redesign to ensure smooth underside. For pilots not flying F-22 or F-35, your chances of being shot down by J-20 is higher.

@@kaijugabriel1685 I was comparing stealth and non-stealth fighters. Five Singaporean F-15s were reporrted defeated by Aussie F-35s (5 - 0). This was probably not WVR / dog fight, so BVR. Was radar on or off, AEW used or not by RAAF and so on. Singapore F-15s train in US and Oz for years so the exercise report (if true) would be interesting reading.

It looks good on paper but in real combat situation its still an enigma. As every other Made in China weapon. Never tested in harsh real combat.

Interestingly, this aircraft uses the European Typhoon/Rafale/Gripen delta wing + canard configuration rather than the more traditional US design.

There are already 400 J-20 aircraft, which have become arcade machines. I prefer J-35 stealth carrier based aircraft
400 J20. Wow ! I like to believe this number. But I think the number is more likely to be 200. The J20 is still in production and continually upgrading. Having too many j20 at this type would be a financial burden . 6 th generation is under development

From wiki’s sources, ~200-300 aircraft. This is not China military reported number. I don’t think China military reports number of J20 in service. I have seen some reported ~220 J20. Around 10 production every year. I would believe these numbers. F22 is out of production long time ago and around 180 left flying. Having J20, F35 is not much of a threat to China. F35 is exporting to countries not F22

People don't understand that stealth is a mith! If there's a minimum signal it can easily be amplified, like sound frequency or any low energy detection system! Stealth concept creates a clean aerodynamic profile, but L band radar from WW2 can easily detect stealth aircraft from far away!
Yeah, I'm really tired of people claiming stealth aircraft (mostly F-22 & F-35) can sneak around close to the other aircraft undetected.
Like come on. Stealth is only works on BVR situation. On visual range engagement, even a crap radar will definitely can detect any stealth aircraft.

The Russians had a double vertical tail design for their MiG-25 seen over the Middle East way back in 1967.
A decade later, the US came out with the F-15, F-14, and F-18 with the same double vertical tail design.

it is a fighter. It is bigger for a longer range since China is huge. F22 is much smaller since it is designed to fight the USSR in EU and the range requirement is much smaller.

The F-22 is entered service in 1996 and is still the fighter all other countries are trying to catch up with.
