Yeah their energies matches so well but in more like bffs way actually they always have fun together and in this performance they were just enjoying the stage (the concept was hot so probably that was the thing made you kinda ship lol) btw you can see when jackson appeared by the Jessi and put his arms on her shoulders his hands never touched her chest and when they were standing across each other he closed his eyes to not to look at her chest. This performance blew up when it came and one of the reasons was Jackson's respectfulness. :)
This collab came out like a couple of months after I started following Jackson, becoming a fan after seeing just a performance. Saw this one and thought, well damn. At my age I didn't think I'd be an avid fan of singers/musicians anymore... so these two catching my attention and holding on like that, in a span of less than 10 weeks? Just superstar things lol
this performance was just amazing. they are very close and im talking about siblings vibe close so i don't think this ship would sail even if we want to haha. This actually trended for 2 reasons. aside from the performance being great, jackson also trended bc of how gentleman he was towards jessi. when he put his arm around her shoulder, jessi was holding his hand unintentionally pushing it towards her chest but jackson put force in his hand directing the force away from her in order not to touch her. if you zoom it in on that part you can see his hands are frigid/stiff cause he's making sure he does not touch her this can also be seen when they took a photo after the performance when they were posing in the same manner. and when they were facing each other he closed his eyes the whole time to not disrespect her in any way. jessi even commented on a photo of them saying jackson is being "mr gentleman" :)
This performance was from 2020; in Korea the date is written as Year>Month>Day. Also, Jackson wasn't on the original track, they did this collaboration for this particular performance. You should definitely check out more of Jessi's videos!
