Man that’s the shiniest 3S-GTE I have ever seen in my life. I’m taking mine out for a blast today after seeing this video. 30 years old and still going.

I liked the way the warning plate on the heat shield contrasts the rest of it. Kicking myself for not seeing your video sooner.

Mike your videos are the best tutorials for MR2 owners on TH-cam, please continue to make more of them.
I’m just wondering if you are going to be posting the final “how to paint” video of the Chicago MR2 at some point in the future as part one and two were a really helpful to me.
    Love the channel

Hey thanks Chris! As for the 3rd painting video....one will be coming out. I'm not sure when.. It will be on the Pittsburgh MR2. I lost the SD card that had all the 3rd painting video content of the Chicago MR2 on it. :(

Mikes Garage oh no, I remember you mentioned something about that on another video and had my fingers crossed that you found it.
Well either way it sounds like we’ve all got some awesome vids to look forward to. I will definitely be staying tuned in bud.
Stay safe Mike and all the best.

Thanks Mike. You have inspired me to follow your lead. I had a ‘91 MR2 that I bought new and drove until ‘99. I have regretted selling it ever since, though I did replace it with a three year old ‘96 993. I later had a 2001 NSX-T that I rarely drove. Currently have an ‘02 Z06 that is also rarely driven. This project for a daily driver. Eventually. I recently found a solid but high mile car in California that I have to pickup in a couple of weeks. Wasn’t sure yet what engine I was going to put in it. Have thought about a 2GR V6, but I’m not convinced those are reliable enough. Love the work you’ve done with the 3G motors. Would really have loved to have bought one of your cars. But as these videos are a few years old, I’m not sure what you’re doing these days. In any case, I’m going to the turbo 2 liter instead of the V6. Thanks for your work.

    • @gehringer37

Hey thanks man! I'm only running 17 PSI so no need for an aftermarket management. Fuel cut is around 18 PSI on the 3sgte stock ECU.
