- Rawlakot is a beautiful and famous city of Azad Kashmir and head quarter of district Poonch. The city beholds around it the famous tourist spots full of nature just as Banjusa Lake, Tolipeer for tourists and the whole region is as beautiful as it should be, for a traveler. Peaceful city with a neat and clean environment appeals every nature lover.
Rawlakot to Murree is a 3.5 hrs travel having small towns on the way like Arja, Panyola, Makyala and some more. The forests through out the travel don't give a feel of journey but a recreation and has plenty of stop over points where meals and tea are available at cheap rates. We did a memorable stop over at Makyala top and had a real feel of peace and nature around us.
Almost 2.5 hrs are consumed up to Kohala from Rawlakot and Kohala is a good picnic spot as well as the river flowing through Kohala is a line of demarcation between Kashmir and Khyber Pakhtunkha. There are turns after every few hundred meters and dangerous turns, so needs to be careful while travelling there.
River Jhelum originates from Srinagar and after accommodating three more river in it, all drain into the lake of Mangla dam.

No doubt rawalakot is too clean n it's roads are also good..may b that's not as much rushy as the other parts of kashmir... love drones..mashallah u are doing great job by promoting Pakistan in a positive way..keep up the good work👍👍

Origin of Jehlum is not Srinagar rather chashma “ Vairynaag” in Pirpunjal in Indian occupied Kashmir. It passes through Kashmir valley including Srinagar and enters Azad Kashmir at chikothi.
It's a main river in Srinagar with its tributaries around, I said. You're right about its tributaries

Yes you can go anywhere is Jhelum valley of Kashmir by a sedan car. We had night stay at Banjusa lake, half hr distance from Rawlakot

@@yehapakistan7189 private and govt guest houses available. Prior booking is required for govt guest Houses while the only one private guest house remains full despite of multiple rooms particularly during summer. There will be no issue of rooms if you go these days.
