- Bring on the puppies! Our beloved two year old German Shepherd, Duke, is finally with us in Nashville! It’s been a long time coming, but watch with us as we get him all settled into his new home. Warden brings his new puppy, a six week old Siberian Husky named Dex to stay with us too! It’s all puppies, more house updates, and a little trip back to sailing the ocean in California in this fun loving episode!

A German shepherdwants to be with his family laying on the couch and feel included they get very depressed and left out. They are a big family type dog, please allow him in the house to feel part of your life.He will learn the rules and very smart , protective if someone tried to come in on you all. Best dogs ever
Duke just wants to be close to his people. We trained our dogs not to get up on the furniture but they would lay on our feet or we would lay on the floor with them.

Always stay on the positive side of things don't think nothing negative because that is when bad things start happening always praise God for everything no matter what it is because He is the one who is in control of everything no matter what even if it looks bad always Praise God and thank God for being there with you both and don't forget to sing praises to Him because He will always be there for you no matter what I love you both and I think you for sharing your life with us
See if your dog likes cats and if he does get a kitten that is eating food and that dog will take care of the kitten God bless all of you and your families ❤️

One more piece of advice. Dogs are den dwellers by nature. A german shepherd is very protective and bonded to its owner. If you want him to have a space by himself, get a crate for him. He'll feel relaxed and can wind down from "protecting from you". Put soft blankets inside and a toy or two to make it cozy. It's actually something that makes them happy... like time off in his own den. Putting him in a big room where he can see you but is not allowed to go to you may stress him out.
We put a ex lg crate with a comfy pad in the extra bedroom our German shepherd would go into whenever she wanted a time out for herself our children were told to just let her be we did this for 12 yrs until she passed away

That's such great advice. We've had two rescues and we never had a crate for our first, I thought they were a bit cruel. But now, our second rescue came with a crate and she loves it, it's her little sanctuary, she goes and rests in it and we just leave her alone, it's her time out xxxx
I couldn’t have said it better. Being a pack animal he wants to be with his pack which is you. Do he doesn’t understand why he can’t be with you. I second the idea on getting a crate for him, he’ll be much happier.

Recipe for protein: saute' 1 medium onion diced, 1 bell pepper diced, 3 yellow squash, sliced, 3 zucchini, sliced, 1/2 cup diced ham, in a little olive oil. Once veggies are tender, scramble 8 eggs and pour over veggie and ham mixture, once in pan mix around to combine.top with cheese of your choice, we love Gouda. Bake 350 degrees in 13x9 until eggs are set and cheese is hot melty and eggs are set. Approximately 15 minutes. Serve with salsa.
I have 2 cats, Missy is 13 and Stranger is about 7 he was a stray so the vet gave and estimate on his age. Missy was a rescue got her when she was almost 3. Stra never was about 2 when he adopted us. I would be lost without them.

I thought the same thing. And it wasn’t even a criticism really I was just agreeing with someone who pointed out it felt like a bait and switch. Which it was. :( We were all concerned with her health and they showed a preview of her having an ultrasound and then didn’t address it. So multiple commenters were asking. I just realized today I was blocked after watching this new video from YT. I think there were plenty of criticisms of Tiffany that folks might’ve been banned for, but I wasn’t one of them. I actually like her a lot. 😂 It felt like a jerk move and like you said in Christ like to be so rude to a fan but oh well. I’m kinda torn now between wanting to watch and feeling like if he blocks me then he isn’t someone I want to watch. Which stinks since I followed since United Bates.
@@MagicRailroadfan I completely understand. All we can do is pray for them. If you feel like you shouldn't watch then don't. There is always Alyssa, Carlin, and Katie, and Trace who have channels as well and sometimes Erin. Let's just hope that maybe with so many pointing it out that the Lord spoke to them that things must change.

Tiff, ask for a “butterfly needle” when you have your blood drawn if you don’t already. It’s a finer needle and doesn’t cause as much bruising. Will be praying for answers!! 🙏🏼

If you choose an Australian Shepherd, just be pre-prepared, because they have lots, and lots, and lots of energy, and if they get bored inside, and are not crated, they will tear up your house.

I have 4 dogs total . Two are German Shepherds. My German Shepherds always try to get their way with those cute faces.

I can’t believe a neighbor can try and stop you from putting up a fence. You have a responsibility to protect your dog from getting hit by a car. You also have a duty to protect your neighbors from a dog even a well behaved dog. I’m glad Duke has his privacy fence .
Maybe you should have had every Bates family member over every weekend and had all the kids in your yard. Your neighbor probably has would have wanted his privacy.

Dogs need to be a part of their pack. That’s you. Please don’t isolate him from you, let him be with you.
Tiff, try green smoothies with 1-2 cups spinach or kale, frozen red grapes and banana or any fruit you like. 1 avocado, chia seeds, ground flax seeds and almond milk. Green juicing is packed with concentrated nutrients also. Look up Joe Cross for green juice recipes. Eat a hand full of nuts and seeds every day. walnuts, almonds, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds.
Awww dogs want to be right with their humans. Even though he can see you, he will be sad that he can’t be sitting with you guys.

I have 5 rescue chihuahuas they're super easy to take care of and they're portable ;P super loyal to their owners and will protect Duke LOL

Lilah is a 1 1/2 year old Aussiepoo, Very smart and potty trained in a week! Non shedding is the best part!

We love our husky! They take a while to train, but boy are they loyal. Ours is so gentle with our girls, and she is the best family pet.

Hi Tiffany, definitely listen to your cravings (as long as they are for healthy things). Foods the Lord has personally led me to that are super nutrient-dense include dried apricots, sardines, and kalamata olives. Be sure to eat organic as much as possible! Eggs, avocados, breads made from freshly ground flour, sauerkraut, sweet potatoes, russet potatoes, grassfed beef, green tea, and whole milk yogurt are some other really great nutrient-dense foods. You made me totally hungry with the eggs, avocado and homemade bread. I grind flour, make my own bread, and have avocados and my chickens lay many eggs. I'm making that tomorrow. 😻
@@MikePenceFly YUM!!! One of my favorite meals (I cook it most days) is a slice of toast (from fresh milled flour bread) with mashed avocado mashed with organic hot sauce and a sunny side down egg with melted cheese and black pepper on top. It is unbelievably satiating-highly recommend!
This is word for word what I would have said, ha! I grind my own einkorn and it's soo good. Ironically I had been craving olives and saw some kalamata at Costco. Can a few be eaten daily?
@@Cubbies13579 Amazing-a wonderful confirmation of God! I can easily eat half a jar of Kalamatas (though I don't tend to do that every single day). Look up their health benefits online-they're incredible! Also, olives are very biblical. :-)
LOL once you have a pet, it's their home now. You just get to live there. That baby gate won't be up for very long! Especially for how big he is 🐕🦺
Dogs want to be with you all the time, not in their own room. You'd be surprised how well behaved he'd be if he was with you. They always want to lay in the same room your in. That's just their nature to protect you.
Awww, Duke wants to be with you guys! Tiffany I'm praying for your health. I would strongly recommend that you guys don't get an Australian Shepherd. They are highly intelligent and energetic and need a lot, a lot, a lot of mental stimulation to be happy... training, exercise and they really thrive with sheep herding training. Because you travel a lot, I worry you may end up having a dog that's unhappy and frustrated. Duke is so great and so chill. A lab would be a great companion and would fit your lifestyle!!!!

Sail boating is a lot harder than it looks. You have to keep track of many lines and many rigs. Unexpected wind changes can happen at any time which can drastically change the position of the sails (even when the rigging is tight). Nice job for the 1st time sailing Lawson & Tiff.

We have a German Shepherd named Cody and we have a double doodle named Doodlehead. It is the best thing we ever did for Cody he took her right in from the beginning.
Definitely get a golden doodle! I had one for 15 years and he was the best boy, they’re great with kids too which is a plus!
i have a dachshund whose name is Carson and he’s almost 14 years old. My mom has a Chiweenie whose name is Maggie and she’s 12 years old. Boxer whose name is Baby she’s 4 years old. A Great pyrenees whose name is Lulu and she’s 8 months old. 1 cat whose name is Alice whose approximate 4 years old. Plus, 3 chickens( names- Penny, caramel, Blacky)2 roosters names- Peanut and Purple or aka leroy. Lastly, 3 mallard ducks with no names. Also, 2 crest ducks 1 one name is Ethel, and others name is Elvis.

My shepherd had separation anxiety and had to be with me not just see me. I'm praying for you Tiff and prayerfully the next sonogram will be for baby Bates.

I always have a low white blood cell count. My mother does as well so I think it’s hereditary. I do not get sick often at all so I do not think it necessarily correlates to bad immunity. Take your vitamins and try to eat well and you’ll be just fine! 😊

Hello, my family has a Great Pyrenees/Golden Retriever. She has a lot of skin issues and allergies. Our veterinarian said that is common in Golden Retriever. Do some research on the Golden Retriever side. My friend has a pure blood Great Pyrenees and has no skin issues with his dogs. Beautiful back yard. Prayers for your health issues Tiffany. You can put your own fence up , if neighbor doesn't want it or pay half, then that's still ok , it's legal and for your dogs safety and any children you have in the future. So don't allow the neighbors to dictact your property, some people aren't ever happy and they can't make you stop the fence going up. I would put it up and make sure it is sitting and the my edge of my yard.

Aww so glad Duke is home. Puppies are cute. Sorry for your health issues and the bloodwork. They often use the butterfly needle with me. I do hope you can get rest and vitamins and build up your immune system and feel better real soon. Looking forward to hearing your adoption story.
Our standard poodle just had 10 golden doodles about a week ago. I have primary immune deficiency and for 2 years I did 3 ½ hour infusions every Sunday. I start seeing a new immunologist in January and praying that the new immunologist will start my infusions back up again. My old immunologist stopped my infusions back in May and within 3 weeks I had back to back infections. Now I'm stable taking prophylactic antibiotics daily, but I'm having trouble with yeast infections from all of the antibiotics.
I have a beagle named Whiskey he's 3 years old
I would go with a type of doodle because Duke will be sharing lots of dog hair within the home 🙃 Two shedding dogs will double that.
We had 2 Saint Bernards (currently with one since our girl passed away) and I am constantly vacuuming and cleaning after them. We still have our boy and we added a Sheepadoodle last year. It is nice to have a dog that doesn’t shed 😬
