- Welcome to the fourth video on this channel. This was filmed on route through The Alps.
Exploring the mountain trails through the alps and understanding the thirst for adventure.
I hope this channel will bridge the gap between my two biggest passions, Overlanding and Cinematography/ Photography. This won't be a mad 4wd offroad/laning channel but what it will be is a place to tell the stories that overlanding creates. If you like it make sure to subscribe and get amongst the party. There is plenty more to come!
Tom and Rex.

the simple things become more beautiful on adventures like this...especially French press coffee! 🙂New subscriber but in for the journey... thanks Tom
Ahah isn’t that true! Thanks for the love mate I appreciate the support!
Absolutely fantastic Tom, I have a deep affection for the Alps, not skiing but cycling the climbs and following the Pro’s on the Tour and Giro. I’m now preparing my Disco 1 for a week of Welsh lanes and wild camping in January and will raise a cup to a fellow scenic coffee addict. Keep up the great work 👍
Sounds awesome pal! Enjoy the time in wales I’ll toast a coffee to y’a too!
watching your videos makes me think that i need a drone too. really well made !

Nice, been looking for some overlanding destinations in the Alps for next summer, great videowork too.
Definitely worth the adventure for sure. Appreciate the support mate.
I see you are letting Rex run the factory rear bumper... I am on my 3rd one. They get so brittle with age. Rex is now legal to drink in the US - age 21... Hahaha Cheers!
Ahah yeah for now ideally cause I do so much solo I want a rear winch bumper but time and finances will tell ahah
@@overlanddiscovery365 I just moved to a Terrafirma steel bumper with recovery points last weekend. We will see how it performs. Keep up the videos.

Will definitely check it out 😍
Stunning video mate! Well done! I did the Tunnel du Parpaillon in August of this year, very spectacular! I'm interested to know at what time of the year you did this trip? I'm planning to go and do some more trails in the Alps this year :)
Cheers from Belgium!
Thanks for the love mate! I would have been coming up into the alps around end of June early July. The tunnel du parpaillon only opened the morning I got there due to being blocked by ice. And the col de sommelier was still pretty snowy up the top.
Thanks for the quick get back! Yeah, I was wondering when this was, because of all of that snow up top! Good stuff! I watched your other videos and you pretty much did the same trip as me, from the west to east through the pyrenees, only earlier in the year! Keep up the work! Looks stunning! Good on ya! @@overlanddiscovery365

fantastic landscapes and outstanding editing! did you explore on your own or used some ready tracks?
Bit of both the tracks in this area are quite well established but there always a bit of exploration that goes with it when solo for sure
Have you got a tracking drone or a pilot with you? Great shots
Got my drone with me
@@overlanddiscovery365 sorry I meant how do you manage to fly it whilst driving? I’d end up in a ravine 🤣
@AnthonyWilliams-vh1ds ahah so generally I set it to track the car but I’ll adjust it as I go to get the shots I want 🥰
@@overlanddiscovery365 is that a DJI mini 3 then? I have the 2 but the 3 is tempting for that feature.
@AnthonyWilliams-vh1ds mavic pro 2 ☺️
Do you have the track gpx..? Regards from Portugal
