- 3 summers ago at My Parents house in Glendale, Arizona, I pulled a baby female white mulberry tree out of the ground after it sprouted and took it home with me. I did not know if it was a male or female tree at the time. Being very hopeful i had the patience and faith i would eventually find out the sex of this tree. i have been nurturing it for the past 3 summers and it finally fruited this spring, march of 2024! It's a GIRL!!!

Absolutely! Last year it fruited on the very 1st year's growth! They were very tasty and sweet like blackberry.
