Alone and lonely AREN'T synonymous! You're a Blessed man. Much continued success to you and your endeavors! I enjoy your posts and content. Keep smiling!😊😇
This is dope. Today is Thanksgiving in the US. I am here chillaxing solo. This is the happiest I have been in a long time. Enjoying my homecooked Vegan Thanksgiving. Proud introvert here.
Gaz has a certain innocence about him that could only come from being untouched by the world. This doesn't mean he is naïve, he just found a way out to keep his soul preserved. It is beautiful and poetic almost- an enlightenment of its own kind, in the making, still being written. Thanks for shout out to Indian cuisine- it opens up so many delicious and world class possibilities to go vegetarian and eventually vegan.
You are such a gift to all of us. You are a chef, a mentor, a teacher and a poet that elevates the art of cooking to a whole new level. If you ever find yourself in the central coast of California, you have a beach cottage available to you, as our guest. We would create an epic dinner party. You are welcome here. ❤🙏🏻
“There’s always something to do in the garden.” That sentence speaks to my soul. Thank you Gaz for such lovely wholesome insight into your life. Love it! That’ll be me one day!
Amazing, I grew up on the farm in Poland and now I live in London... Thank you for inspiration, now I wish to move to countryside and live with rhythms of Nature.
I've been a follower since the beginning, it is glad to see you living your best life :) this countryside looks so peaceful, almost unreal. i love your channel
Just wait until they start building houses all around him he will hate it, they’ll be more London twats moving into the area than ever. He can forget the nice scenery that will disappear
Absolute inspiration! I'm hardly online and haven't had a tv in over 6 years as I live off grid. AWESOME CHANNEL. Totally amazed by your passion and drive with producing super foods from garden to plate. A massive thank you for sharing such exquisite ideas. Stay blessed🙏✌
Hi Gaz, I’m a jewellery maker living and working in London. This week at work, one of the chefs in my building passed with a trolley of fruits and vegetables which made me so excited. I thought to myself I love fresh fruits and vegetables and herbs so much I should be a farmers wife! I would happily be a farmers wife and when not working on the farm, I’ll be making jewellery. A dream made in heaven!🤍
Gaz I second your comment on this being wholesome content! Perfect after a long day at work. More episodes like this where we get to "tag along" pleeeease ☺ Also, I would trade my city view with that of yours any day!
Nothing better than growing your own garlic 👌 I love that your encouraging loads of people to grow there own food. It’s no better peace, than putting your hands in the soil, and feeling the wind in your hair ❤
Been a fan for years, back when it was hard to find good vegan resources anywhere. Now they're everywhere, which is a good thing, but I come back again and again to yours. Kudos on success, and enjoying a good life.
@@gazoakleychef Just wait until they start building houses all around your house, you will hate it, they’ll be more London twats moving into the area than ever. He can forget the nice scenery that will disappear
Be careful of weeds in the compost. If your compost isn’t hot enough the weed seeds can survive and you can spread them in your garden with the compost. Speaking from experience!
We cut our pumpkins into 1 to 2 inch cubes, roasted and then fried with salt and pepper and a bit of sugar. So simple, and delicious. Gardening is food for the soul.
Please look out for and protect the hedgehogs Gaz 🙏 they will be hibernating from November to March, but sometimes they can become so exhausted looking for a safe shelter that they will just collapse in some leaves. You might think they are dead, but tuck them in a warm safe space, which I know you will build for them 😉. Thanks 🤗💋
Your videos have an artistic and theraputic quality on top of offering useful cooking recipies and gardening information which is pretty rare and awesome! Keep up the good work Sir!
I'm teary-eyed and so proud to see how far you've come on your journey - the most wholesome main character moment I ever did see. "This is an investment in my future health. I know I'm going to feed my family at least with garlic next year".. What more could you ask for Gaz, garlic is the key to the universe. If you ever needed a live-at-home ceramicist on your property in Wales 👀
It is my dream to have a kitchen garden like this one day! I have a small patio garden at the moment but I can still grow a few bits in big pots and its just the most lovely thing planning and preparing it all! Plus, cooking and eating the home grown goodies is the best ❤️ if anyone has any suggestions of what to grow in pots, let me know! I tend to do tomatoes, sugar snap peas and various herbs:)
Well, I grow in pots too and my most successful crop by far are peppers. Sort of ironic because sweet peppers are the only vegetable I don't like and even though I like hot peppers, I'm sort of a wimp! Husband likes both though. Also, besides the things you mentiined, in big pots I've succesfully grown kale, tatsoi, lettuce, Swiss chard and okra. Happy gardening from Texas
All your hard work paid off with the garden it's still providing plenty of food and looks great. Pumpkin breakfast muffins or pumpkin ravioli. You're so creative I'm sure whatever you make will be amazing 🙂
Your enthusiasm and personality shine through in your videos. I’ve made many of your recipes and enjoyed all of them. I’m a gardener and a vegan, I would happily share a life like yours, sadly, I think I’m old enough to be your Mum lol! Have fun in your veg plot. Be well, Sally 🌹
I can't believe the ladies are not lining up at the gate! I would join you in a heartbeat but I think I am a tad too old, sadly. Also I don't think Wales would welcome all my lovely animals and I couldn't leave them behind. Keep doing what you do, poster boy for healthy Vegan lifestyle. Lots of love from South Africa
Your actually one of the best channels on this platform. You are incredible!! You are truley a great influence in the world. I just want you to know that!! Much Love❤️
You're so inspiring Gaz!!! i love watching you cultivate the earth & create amazing vegan dishes with love and passion - goals for the future honestly!
Incredibly beautiful and you are such a great role model for other young men, I must say. I bought my 100-year old cottage also two years ago, but haven't had time for the garden as renovating the house has taken so much energy. I'm only now starting with the old and wild garden, flowers are my first priority. There's a lot of rabbits and deers around and I would need a proper fences around a vegetable garden. I also live in the very north, so we don't have the luxury of all year round lettuce :D This definitely made me think of trying to build veggie plot anyways, thank you for the inspiration!
Sadly my gardening days are over so what a wonderful alternative joining Gaz in Wales (the country I was born 68 years ago). When our kids were young we grew potatoes - it's like digging for gold!
Wow you're really living the dream! Love your garden, and such a nice touch with the recipes playing while you were in the background. Lots of love from Sweden
Proud owner of two of your cookbooks here! Beautiful video as always 😊 I just love how passionate you are about every single ingredient, even the humble beet! It’s clear to see that you’re incredibly proud of your garden, and how could you not be? That is goals right there. Way to go, Gaz! Maybe make something bready with your pumpkin? Like some sort of bun or iced roll? Just a thought!
wow, i just loved this video. so impressed by your talent. this could have been 5 different videos, but here we have it, in just one! love the music dinamics on the video as well!
Man I wish you lived near me as I would hire you to cook for me. Lol...Love the stuff you make. I have lived alone for the past 10 years. I love it! I'm older though. Love how grateful you are for the food you grow. That love for what you do makes it even more healthier and better. I love your videos! Thank you for sharing your recipes and how to do things.
This is so inspiring! There’s something so rewarding in having your own garden, with sowing and reaping. This put a smile on my face. Thank you for sharing. I am looking forward to your harvest.
This makes me miss my days growing up on the bottom of a mountain in Virginia. My step-dad created an awesome garden and the best part was watching the process each year. Thanks so much for sharing your journey! (Also, isn't being away from the hustle and bustle so wonderful!)
Perfect episode to watch this morning after thanksgiving. It is great to see how much you’ve grown fond of your garden. But then again you already liked house plants since the beginning of your channel so this was the natural progression.
Cause of you I have started an indoor garden with grow lights. My patio gets too much heat and wind and couldn’t even grow zucchini! I found seeds online for scotch bonnet and that was the beginning. Now I have greens and berries and herbs! So excited and you helped me start it. Thank you! I wish I could post pictures, they are lookin pretty good.
I LOVE this video. So different from your usual recipe content but still incredibly well planned, filmed and edited. Inspiring, instructive and so cinematic! Also, it has been wonderful to see you thrive after the move - you really seem "in your element" at the moment and it really transpires through your videos! . Lots and lots of love Gaz! Wow 😳❤️ what a hardworking farmer and Chef too ! Just found this video today 6th December 2022 ! Love those veggies ; Garlic, the beet roots, this farmer is passionate and full of Life! All the best in your gardening!
I adore your garden videos, they’re so cosy and inspiring - having a garden is my dream. Right now I have my little balcony garden and pots, growing all my my herbs and currently tomatoes, blueberries, eggplant, chard and chilli - there really is nothing like growing your own food. It’s helped my anxiety so much. Please keep making these kind of videos ❤ I also look forward to the next Mexico episode! (Also, I volunteer, just putting it out there 🙋🏼♀️)
There’s only one person I’ve seen that gets happier from a beautiful cob of corn and that’s my husband, here in east Africa we grow lots of it and you know what we do when the corn has come up..? we plant beans at the roots so that they can climb on the storks of the corn and bring lots of bean pods! Love the recipe; unfortunately we’ve got no vegan butter over here but we do have buttery avocado! We roll our freshly picked and roasted (on a fire) corn in them, so simple but absolutely delicious. Keep these vids coming; shine that light!
What an absolutely beautiful garden. I would love to see you make some pumpkin raviolis with a browned butter sauce or maybe a lovely roasted pumpkin soup.
Gaz, you've totally inspired me to get on my autumn garden chores. I've been putting it off! I have tulip bulbs and ramps that need planting, compost and wood ash to be shoveled on the beds, and some elderberries that need to be put in the ground before it freezes. I wasn't expecting to be inspired in this way on your channel! 🙏
You’ve such a beautiful garden Gaz! I just started my own vegetable garden with raised beds using the no dig method. Can’t wait to harvest my own veggies next year. If all goes well…
Beautiful veggie garden! I just finished raking up my leaves and stuck it in the compost pile. Just found your channel. So nice to see what's growing halfway around the world.

Your backyard is truly filled with knowledge. I feel benefited from receiving it as knowledge that can be applied in many ways. I really like growing organic plants that are healthy. Thank you for sharing.
LOVE what you are doing! SOOOO Happy I have found this! Thanks for bringing together all elements for cooking, seasoning, growing foods and self-sustainable, etc.. Your home looks amazing and look forward to reading your books!!!
Such a beautiful and wholesome space that you have created for yourself. Thanks for sharing it with us :) We are going into summer here in Australia now and for some reason the changes of the seasons always make me feel a little bit homesick. I love autumn and I wish I could beam myself home to Europe just for a moment to soak up that fresh air, the beautiful autumnal colors and the sounds of birds and crunching leaves. This video was so comforting to watch and brought me that warm feeling of nostalgia - it helped to cure my homesickness a little :) Thank you Gaz 🤍
Absolutely love this, and now super inspired to start my own veggie/herb patch in the backyard! Can you do update videos throughout the seasons? Would be awesome to see what's going on in your kitchen garden throughout the year 🤩
I love that your channel is expanding and growing, just like your garden!😃 I love that you're showing us how to grow things and easy ways to do it for small areas. Thanks Gaz!
OMG! I just love your garden!! Did you do everything yourself??? I couldn't believe it when i read the title of this video.. how can a guy like you be alone?? And than you asked for someone to share it with? aaaaaw
I first saw you in your Charles Dowding farm visit video. I'm a huge fan of his also! I must say, your delight and joy at growing a garden is very nice to see. Keep up the good work and thanks for that delicious corn recipe!
You are giving me gardening inspiration when I plant mine next year. I love pumpkins seeds and all!! Can't wait for those videos!!! Thank you from New Brunswick, Canada
Great video! Love seeing what you do in your garden! Also, I just wanted to say I'm really thankful for your channel. About a year and a half ago I stumbled onto a video where you talked about what made you go vegan and that prompted me to watch Gary Yourofsky's speech. I went vegan immediately after that and never looked back. I am forever grateful that you led me to this lifestyle. Thank you for doing what you do!
Love to see your countryside life going so well and all the nice crops that you grew 🙏 And you're still dressing and decorating the house so classy! Set me on this list of wannabe housewives, I'd join in an eye blink! 😍
Ah luv it!! I'm the type of person that reads the comments while watching the video and was wondering why so many folks were talking about a wife for Gaz...until he basically put out an "ad." It was so unexpected I burst out laughing. It's amazing how much he and the channel has grown. 🤗🤗
I loved the garden tour - I’m currently growing kale, chard, green onion, spinach and mint and it’s such a great experience to see things growing and then using them in dishes.
It brings me so much joy to watch this. Gardening seems so relaxing. Just started growing and killing some things😁 I hope to grow fruits and vegetables 🥗 on my own land some day. Thanks for sharing and Happy Thanksgiving from America☺️
It warms my heart to see that someone of your age takes pleasure in appreciating the nature, gardening, composting,... that's refreshing to watch
I climbed snowdon in August and if I look at this video I truly miss Wales! What a gem!

Your enthusiasm is so uplifting! Thank you for taking us to your garden & sharing your recipes. Can´t wait for spring! 🌱 Cheers 🇨🇦
100% YES ready to join you on the countryside and be your wife, tysm for finally asking! I'll just go ahead and pack my bags now :')
Don't forget you can sauté those beet tops! Beets are a cousin of Chard and the tops sizzle up beautifully.
Love to see your countryside life going so well and all the nice crops that you grew 🙏 And you're still dressing and decorating the house so classy! Set me on this list of wannabe housewives, I'd join in an eye blink! 😍
He has such a calm, carefree & friendly energy about him, suprised no one has snatched him up yet! 🤭
Yes we can get lunch 😋
This is so fab. The scenes are beautiful, the music is soothing and the humour is topnotch. I love it here.
IT'S giving off grid living vibes I love it, btw new vegan here going on week 9 I love this lifestyle 🙌🏾
Love these vids Gaz! Every time I see your garden it makes me want to move to the countryside and have my own!
So lush!
It brings me so much joy to watch this. Gardening seems so relaxing. Just started growing and killing some things😁 I hope to grow fruits and vegetables 🥗 on my own land some day. Thanks for sharing and Happy Thanksgiving from America☺️
❤️ glad you enjoyed the video
This is the first time im seeing a youtube short within a youtube video, an amazing idea and phenomenal way to hold viewer attention.
Gorgeous, Gaz! All the best as always!
