I just bought 17 pounds of bologna, 17 pounds of cheese and 20 loaves of bread to make sandwiches for the homeless in South Florida. It feels good to help. The problem is, I can’t even afford to feed myself right now and that is why I got in trouble. My landlord doubled the rent. My roommate, and Boyfriend of four years left and never came home. And suddenly I was faced with two times the amount of rent than I’ve ever paid. Discounted a couple grocery items at Walmart so I could eat. That $30 I saved in groceries ended up costing me $500 in court fees and 40 hours of community service. Having to buy and make 250 sandwiches for the Homeless cost me over $250. I will be homeless Next month.

Talc based body powder is not available or offered by Johnson & Johnson or the generic brands in the US for the past few years. Body powder is now made with cornstarch. Talc is safe for people, but unfortunately it can be easily contaminated by asbestos. Talc and asbestos are both mineral substances mined from rock. The mining process can accidentally mix asbestos in the broken rock into the talc.
Weren't those early claims about asbestos in the powder? And it needs to be remembered there is still no peer reviewed scientific research that the powder causes reproductive cancers, J&J have paid out as it was was cheaper to settle the cases rather than fight them.
