It's so frustrating. It happens a lot when he's throwing second. He'll come up with some good logic of his own but he'll latch onto something Rhett says so he doesn't fall too far behind

@@VicYungoddxxx Well I'm german and I can totally understand why he would choose germany. If you exclude the 'weird tofu' everything else in the broth is just typical german/middle european ingredients: chicken, carrots and asparagus,

Never heard of hochzeitssuppe at a wedding. Mostly there is some sort of schnitzel and noodles or fries
@@ivogeissler2121 afaik its a bit more old fashioned and a lot of weddings these days just go for a cold buffet or a menu with a couple choices (where as you say schnitzel and pasta are common inclusions...essentially anything familiar, but a bit fancier than one might be used to)
Chase should get one of those online certificates so he can do weddings. He's so talented. I think he can pretty much do anything he wants when he grows up.

i reallllly hope they invite the parents back and it would also be so funny if one time it was orchestrated so they were live on the line but they didnt tell rhett and link and they say random stuff like this but gradually it gets more specific to the situation until they eventually realize they're actually there live (or at least on the phone live)

Hochzeitssuppe (the German dish) literally translates to wedding soup.
Oh, so I just learnt that Hochzeit means wedding in German. Thought it was like the Swedish "högtid" which just means holiday or day of celebration. I've heard of the soup before so just thought it was a general holiday soup, but guess not!

We have two types of pastilla in morroco one with fish and rice noodles and a mix of spices and the more traditional one is the Savory and sweet one (my favourite) glad you liked it guys !
Hey, I want to make this dish, and I have acess to two types of bread/doughs that I can use:
Moroccan flat bread-Tunis uses it for "Brick"
Or Backlava thin pastry layers
Which one is the closest to the original dish?
@@Aflooos in morroco we use a thin layer pastry called (pastilla paper ) but using the bread used for bricks should be fine

@@Aflooos tbh any kind of filo pastry would work, then you wrap it around your filling either in one giant pastilla or multiple, don't use too much crust tho, and make sure to coat between the layers with butter, be generous with the spices and dust it with sugar and cinnamon.
I always get some shared enjoyment every time Rhett really likes these foreign foods. "Man that's good"

I’ve been waiting for an Armenian dish on this show for years 🇦🇲
As a person living in Germany but not in a very German household, I have barely any memory of that soup, I probably had it last in kindergarten but I can so clearly taste it through the screen. It's such a distinct taste that even tho I didn't even know anymore that this dish exists, the moment I saw it, I really felt that taste.
So amazing to finally see Armenia in an episode like this
