Back in 1970’s I sewed myself a couple of items called Tabards, identical in style to your “tank tunic”. I wore them out😊. Thank you so much for this tutorial on how to create such beautiful fabric patterns. Simply stunning❤
This video came up in my feed and I had no idea what you were doing and so glad I stayed to the end. That's was so fascinating to watch and a lot of work for sure. And, you're a very easy to listen to speaker. Thank you
this is why shibori fabric is so expensive I have just bee living in Japan and tried some folding in a clamp shibori super fun. Thanks Geri enjoyed your video thumbs up and subscribed
This simple Shibori pattern is so attractive for the very reasons you mention; your careful effort is doubtlessly worthwhile and appreciated. Your always clear tutelage is inspirational, your garment design is exquisite and is expertly sewn. What a satisfying joy to see the beautiful outcome of your efforts and what a privilege it is to learn from you! Thank you.
Love it!!! Great job as always, I want to do this for your course, which I bought, on Now You Know, of course, in a short blouse to try it. Thanks!!!❤❤❤
Not sure the pattern will be revealed but I found simplicity s9409 very similar. Just a few easy adjustments to the pattern. Raise sides, lengthen overall, and use ties instead of tabs.

Beautiful, do you allow the fabric to dry before you unfold the design or is it still wet?
I would love the pattern of the dress ❤

@@momodoc Thank you 🤗
Love your Vids.🙏
Wonder if machine stitch (on long stitch lengths) would give same result?
I don’t think so. I know there’s a specific technique for machine-stitched shibori, but not producing this particular pattern. Thanks for your support
@@GeriInStitches Thinking about it further machine stitch lines (holes) could show thru. Just have to test. Thank you.
Do you have the pattern for the outfit - it is beautiful
Was your 31x60 inch piece enough for front and back or did you do 2 lengths
